I grew up in spoiled in nj, untill I knew what that was. It took me a long time to understand what the word appreciation meant. I became a heroin addict at 22, from emotions and feeling I repressed untill I realized what they were.

My life.... Content Warning.
first time I was burned. looking up amidst the buried frozen glow of the projects, around the same time now, October. Cold but not too bad. See I used to like getting the 'score' it was outta sorts, a wanderlust in its own right. I freaking loved it! The first few times it’s like an imaginary game show. riding the tides. Yo pull over just to puke a block away just before you make that turn onto the block cause your body already knows what's in store for it. (doing heroin is bad for you) Zombies and lil kid dealers. Jagged are that streets that hold their own. I remember, whats her name? sitting in my car that nite...wanting some, of my perfect fix, what is that like! "would you give me a lil"? of this? "No way!" Come on"she pleaded to me. just this once?! No, Never from me, So don't ever ask again. Once is all you need, and this is not me, I won’t be doing this one day. it won't last long anyway. It will kill me or I'll kill myself doing it. She kissed me, as she began to get out of the car, and, said, Take care of yourself. A few days later, A friend of mine, told me the police found her dead, cut up on the tracks in NJ What a shame. All that spirit and beauty she had. See right now I love this! There is a hero in my dirty dope bag of heroin, the bitter smell, the rush to cop from my favorite newark spot. Somewhere I think I hoped this dose kills me. echoing, but bag after hundred dollar bundle it never came close. A fuck it, Saturday nite thing turns into selling your vcr for 5 bags. Those people think it’s a cool game to play, roll the dice and you’re hooked. I get to be alone to steal my life away, but what was I running from....Myself mostly. those words made me right, and where did I go? Journey’s and new discovery. One time I met Maggot and he was a long term junkie, needles and ice-cream, should have been a store front name. How his mother never knew. No one else either, maybe I hid it well or was i just really tired all the time.
