I am a new Writer, with a creativity that cries out for an audience. I love the warp of going into a World, Where a character lives and breathes.
THE SUBWAY THEORY
The Subway Theory The full moon illuminates the night. The adrenaline hits hard with the thrill of driving at high speed. Jake’s body is in euphoria—completely intoxicated—on his cocaine and booze. His car zips past other cars, not caring about being close by centimeters.
DRAW WHAT YOU SEE
DRAW WHAT YOU SEE BY JESUS NIEVES It's 3 am and Trevor can't sleep. He sits in his drawing-room; thinking of what to draw, for his next graphic novel. Trevor turns on his TV, hoping to get inspiration. He watches a documentary about serial killers. A light bulb goes off in his head, what if he created a character who is a serial killer. This killer is an artist, his art does the killing for him instead of using his bare hands.
WAKE UP BY JESUS NIEVES Tracy wakes from the phone ringing nonstop. She sits up, squinting at the sunlight peeking through her blinds. As she brushes her teeth, again her cell phone rings, and the caller ID shows Anna. As she is getting dressed, the phone rings again, this time with a follow-up text, it says “hey, the last reading you gave me came true, exactly as you said”.
Julie by Jesus Nieves
Life has its stories of heroes and mine is my mom Julie. A mother of three. A best friend and protector with a loving soul who treated all people the same. A single mom due to my dad's adultery. We were poor, but my mom always did whatever to make us happy. She worked long hours to support us. Mom and I had a close relationship, I could tell her anything, no matter how bad or good it was.
