Snowy weekend getaway
We drove up the snowy, windy road towards the cosy A- frame cabin, "this road is icy' Sarah sat nervously next to her husband "I know and with all this snow I can barely see the road" "we will make it" "don't worry sweetheart we will get get to the lovely cosy A frame cabin' Jacob said in a reassuring voice he didn't want to panic his wife he could she was already nervous. An hour later they arrived safely at the cabin "I knew we'd make it in one piece" Jacob smiled as he grabbed their bags out of the car "I hope there is some dry firewood inside we need dry firewood to start a fire" Sarah nodded. When they walked into the cabin Sarah looked over at the fireplace there was a basket next to the fireplace with some wood in it "that's not a lot Jacob" "it is enough to get it started I'll go out to the shed and see if there is more" Sarah took their bags from Jacob "you get the fire started and I'll take these into the bedroom "ok sweetheart" Jacob kissed Sarah sweetly on the lips.

The birth had not been smooth there had been complication for me not my baby girl she was beautiful and healthy I watched as Logan cradle her in his arms 'are you okay?' I put my finger to his lips 'no not now I need to get my strength back and be a mother to my baby girl we will talk about this later' 'you're right rest now' Logan kissed my forehead. The time had come for me to go home with my baby girl and I knew Logan would be waiting on my decision about our relationship the only problem was I didn't have one I knew I loved Logan but I didn't know whether I was ready. I sat in the rocking chair that Logan had made while I feed my baby girl Lily I felt Logan's presence I knew he was standing in the door frame 'Logan' 'yes' 'you just going to stand there and watch' 'yes I am it is a beautiful sight' I sighed. I placed Lily down in her bassinet I felt Logan behind me 'I need to sleep while Lily is sleeping' 'Tess' 'not now Logan I am tired' 'you can't keep me waiting forever' he sounded so angry but I couldn't turn around I heard him leave the room.

My Favourite Summer Food
Summer Time is a hot season and eating is something I do little of The thought of turning on the stove or oven does not appeal to me and not being much of cook as it is in any season making a greek salad doesn't involve cooking there is nothing nicer than a greek salad you have thrown together yourself and a nice cool drink and no not talking about an alcoholic drink I am talking about a nice glass of coke or pepsi with ice.

I knew moving in with Logan had not been a good idea being around Logan was proving to be difficult my hormones were raging due to being pregnant and finding it difficult to hold down my sexual urges towards Logan I didn't want to throw myself back into our relationship when I still didn't completely trust Logan so being in the same house as Logan was proving to be difficult. I couldn't avoid him when we were setting up the baby's nursery 'we need a neutral colour no pink and no blue' 'how about green?' 'green really Logan' 'well what do you suggest' 'what about wall paper with a pattern on it that would suit a boy or a girl' 'so wallpaper shopping it is then' I got up from the spot I had been sitting on the floor I groaned 'what's wrong?' 'stiff joints' 'you're working too hard' 'Logan stiff joints are part of pregnancy whether you are taking it easy or working' 'no need to snap Tess' 'sorry but you are fussing too much' 'you're pregnant I can't fuss' 'you can fuss but you are fussing too much and it is driving me crazy' 'sorry I will easy back a bit' 'thank you' I rubbed lower back. This guy just didn't get that no means no I have tried to get away but he keeps following me seriously some guys are just morons 'how about that dance' 'I have said no and that I am not interested' I try to walk away but he grabs my arm 'come on sweetheart I can show you a good time' 'no thanks' I try to pull away but his grip tightens 'I believe the lady said no' 'buzz off loser' the guy gets pulled away from me I looked to see who came to my rescue and roll my eyes it is my ex boyfriend Logan 'typical' I mutter and weave my way through the crowd to get away from both of them. Logan and I broke up months ago and he still being my knight in shining armour why can't he get the message that we are so over, I step outside and breath in the fresh air but I know I am not alone I can feel Logan behind me I don't turn around 'are you okay?' I don't answer 'Tess' I turn on him 'seriously Logan what the hell' 'why are you angry?' 'why can't you leave me alone we are broken up so stop being some crazy white knight I don't need your help' 'Tess' he looks hurt but I don't feel sorry for him 'just leave me alone' with that I walk away and don't look back.

Vacation part 2
So I had found out that Jack and his sister owned the restaurant we had had dinner in that night they had inherited it from their parents a couple years ago I didn't ask what happened to their parents as it was not my business. Marie had been my best friends for years and had been there for me when Logan had cheated on me but sometimes it was hard to be around her and Trevor as Trevor was Logan's brother and their looked to much a like I tried hard not to treat Trevor any different but it was difficult at times. The morning I had just needed some time to myself so I was strolling through a antique book shop I loved antique books I found a copy of pride and prejudice one of my most favorite books when someone came up behind me 'good book' I jumped and nearly screamed 'it just me' Jack rubbed my upper arms to calm me 'I am so sorry I didn't mean to scare you' I stepped back 'well you did you shouldn't sneak up on people like that' I snapped 'Lily I am sorry' his face looked so sad 'no I am sorry Jack I shouldn't of snapped at you like that' his face lifted a little. I hated myself for being like this but with everything that Logan had done to me I hadn't fully gotten over it 'um... sorry you said something before' 'yes I asked if it was a good book' 'it is a good book one of my favorites' Jack smiled at me 'can I buy you a coffee as an apology for scaring you um... do you drink coffee I could buy you something else' 'I love coffee and that would be nice just let me pay for my book' I smiled a little it was the least I could do after snapping at him I had felt bad.
