The Coat Man
On the subway, I see the usual people on my commute; the man that wears the same black coat who carries the same briefcase. He is probably about 50ish, still has a full head of hair and I would imagine that he still attracts a lot of attention. Today he wore a bright red scarf. He seems very solemn, so I like to think about how that choice played out this morning for him.

Inexpensive Gift Giving
The gifts you give for the Holiday’s don’t always need to be something that is purchased. Stores can be nuts around this time of year and overwhelming, something that I personally try to avoid at all costs. The amount of anxiety around shopping is also enhanced by this thing called a Pandemic? I’m not sure if you’ve heard of it?

From the Canadian Prairies with Love!
It makes sense to support as many local businesses as possible any season, but more so this year. So I wanted to make a list for those that are interested in not only some outstanding, meaningful, and fun gifts, but also gifts that can support our awesome local businesses! Sure, Amazon does have some small and independent businesses that need support too, but if it is better for that business to have their products bought through their website, then be in support of that. Since this is not an article on the evils of corporate giants, let’s get on with the list!
