It was summer time. School was out and there I was, 12 year old me hanging out at my cousin’s mansion like house. It was huge, gorgeous, and looked like something out of one of those real estate shows. But this story isn’t about his MTV cribs house. This story is about me.

How Anime made me a writer
When I was about 13 years old I was such a dorky kid, I wasn’t bullied per say but I was a teacher’s pet and I loved getting good grades. I had Harry Potter glasses (super hip now, of course) that I did get made fun of for but I really didn’t pay attention.

The Full Glass
It was 9:46pm and I looked at my watch two minutes later to see 9:48pm. I sighed in disbelief. “Was I really getting stood up today? I can’t possibly be. I did myself up, made the effort, ugh I even bothered to do my hair!” I sighed as I watched ripples in my glass of Merlot from someone walking past.
