Just a girl who enjoys concerts, reading, writing, and all things mythical & magical
Ignore the small errors please, typing on an iPhone late night without realizing the corrections will do that lol!
Would you pay?
Would you pay $750 for slices of meat? One of my family members just did that for the weekend. And it’s a consistent weekly thing for the guy and his brother. He pays $150 per slice of meat and I mean, I think that’s insane for something you eat so fast and end up, well you know....
Music Saves Lives
I couldn’t even imagine picking just ONE photo, especially with all the concerts I go to. But pictures can speak 1000 words, even with the simplest of actions.
You’re Favorite Band Was Local Once
Ever wonder what crosses someone’s mind when they say music is their life? It’s hard to understand why someone devotes their life to music but if you got to know them; it sometimes does make sense. It’s because music is the one thing that is always there for them whenever they need it because people are not going to stand there waiting for you. Sometimes, being alone and listening to music is what makes that individual happy; you get your own little bubble, where you can let go and not overthink anything. Music is a person’s safety net, it is what makes someone happy and drowns out the things holding them back in life. You’d be surprised knowing that some people cannot go a day without listening to music. I personally am one, music has been in my life since I was a youngster. No matter what I’m doing or where I go, I’m always ready to have some type of music in the background to get me through the day.
Chocolate Covered Log Cake Anyone?
Hard to believe the Holiday season is already over and we’re in a brand new year. Crazy part, how are we already nearing mid-January? Has anyone even started on their New Years resolutions? Cause I know I sure haven’t; I never really do honestly. I’m such a slacker when it comes to certain things. I promise myself every time I’ll give up soda for good, but the minute I walk into my work doors, I’ve got a bottle all ready and cold, walking in with me.
You ever been to a place owned or run by a celebrity? Like the Wahlburgers and their famous pretty awesome burgers? Coming from a big city, Chicago, there’s a fair share of popular restaurants out there owned, run, invested by all sorts of celebrities. You’ve got Ditka’s (Mike Ditka), Michael Jordan’s Steakhouse, Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville, Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar & Grill, to Giordanos (Derrick Rose plays a point in this awesome pizza loving place) and so many others.
Warped Is Missed
I know it’s not summer time. But it randomly occurred to me that when summer gets closer, we won’t have Warped Tour around. We won’t have a punk/rock/pop/alternative/Indy music festival to bring bands from all over the world and branch our fandoms. We won’t get to see our favorite bands who’ve toured with Warped tour every summer since they hopped on it the first time. We won’t get to randomly check out some newer faces we’ve never heard of or maybe we’ve heard one song by them. We won’t get to make new friends and new memories. We won’t get to spend the day burning in the heat and sweating just to have that summer tan. We won’t get to meet our favorite bands for free. We won’t get to do signings or photographs. We won’t have access to lounges with a specific band member to learn from.
Hearts For Bands
You may have started to witness fans making projects for their favorite bands. Now they’re becoming trends across shows all over the world.
Concerts, Whispers...What happens when you find yourself at a show?
Nothing like having a little backstage fun when one of your favorite bands come into your city. Fandom drama and stories all around you; What one does, one can always tell.
