She Won't Mind
It was a dark and stormy night. Oh wait, never mind. That was just my neighbor moving his trash can to the curb. Jamie couldn’t decide if that was funny or just sad. For a brief moment, he considered that it may be sad—pitiful really—how easily he could amuse himself these days. Ever since Katrina had left, or maybe before, his mind had become a competitive volley of back-and-forth punchlines and diversions.
