A Date With the Devil
"The cabin in the woods had been abandoned for years, but one night, a candle burned in the window," whispered the old man. He appeared to be in his sixties. His hair was as long as his beard, white with silver hews and almost wiry in appearance. He had the tattoo of a scythe on his left forearm which made him even more bizarre. However, he always told tales of the town's lore.

Watermelon Rind Pickles, Mango Jam, and Banana Nut Bread - Summer In My Heart
Summer's at my grandparents' home still fill my head with some of the most wonderful memories of mychildhood. My parents moved to South Jersey from Orlando, FL - my birthplace - in the fall of 1981. Every summer when school let out, my younger brother and I were flown to Jupiter, FL to spend a wonderful three months with my grandparents.

Need vs. Want
Everything you do takes time to develop. But people don’t think that way. They want to believe they will be self-made millionaires overnight if they start a business. They want to see that after a week of dieting and exercising that the scale is going down significantly. They want to know that if they start dating someone, they should be falling in love right away, especially if they’ve been single for a long time, not realizing that it truly takes time to get to know someone, learn their heart and mind, and be able to fall in love over time.

Time and Time Again
There is nothing more blistering in my ears than to hear someone say, “I can’t because I don’t have enough time. That’s the biggest crock of crap anyone can say. It’s an excuse, which is a choice not to do something. You had plenty of time, you just didn’t manage it wisely. I’ve heard this ongoing complaint for years.

Against All Odds
Nothing ever comes easy. Each goal you have, each dream you have will come with challenges. Understanding this is the only way you will succeed. No one woke up one morning and said, “I’m gonna make a million today” without having already made a million dollars.

Patience and Time
I think one of the most sought-after methods of thinking that people lack most is this – patience! People want to see results and they want them immediately. What happens is you get to that level where you are beaming, your energy is through the roof. You are pumped, working hard and doing what you need to reach your goals.
