I'm an intuituve person currently studying the tarot and writing about my journey.
What I’ve learned from three months of studying the tarot
Note: Article contains afflilitate links I can’t believe it’s only been three months. It feels like I’ve learned a ton since I started this journey. Mainly because I had a moment of realization a few weeks ago that showed me that I’ve been developing my skills with intuition since I was very young. And the realization that I’ve spent the past 40 years using it. So when I say that I’ve been studying tarot for three months, that’s true, but the skill it takes to read the cards is one I’ve been working on my whole life. That being said, I still know that I am young in this discipline, and in my practice every day, I feel my growth and understand my place in the grand scheme. I am no expert at this and would never claim to be. What I write here is based on. My journey is a work in progress; things can and will change with time, deepening knowledge and experience. So let’s dive in.
What should we focus on today?
I hope everyone has had a great week and starting on a fantastic weekend. I’m using a spread I’m calling the Energy Spread. Int feels like a fitting name for this one. This is the focus, embrace, release spread I’ve worked with the past week. Today’s reading might be a bit of a doozy, so let’s dive in.
What should we focus on, embrace, and release today.
Welcome friends. I hope you’re having a great week. Let’s dive in to see what the cards have for us today. Our first card shows us what to focus on today. The card that fell out of the deck for us is the Ten of Cups.
Messages from the tarot for March 9, 2023
Today we’re using the Embrace, Focus, Release spread. When I shuffled the cards, these three cards jumped out of the deck this morning. A good indication that the cards want to tell us something important. Either that, or I’m getting a late start, and the cards are excited to start. Let’s dive in.
What the tarot is telling us today - March 7, 2023
This week I’ve started to use a new spread for my daily readings. Rather than being a fortune-telling spread, this one shows us what to focus on, what we should embrace for the day, and what we need to release. I like this spread because I don’t buy into the idea that the cards tell our future. It’s more about giving us insights and ideas about our lives. The future is up to us to create through our actions in the present. So let’s dive into the reading.
Trying out a new daily tarot spread - March 6, 2023
Over the past week or so, I've started to look at other spreads and see if any of them might suit a daily reading better than the one I'm currently using. I like the three-card spread I've been doing, but I'm finding that I'd like to branch out a little. This week I've decided to give a different spread a try. I should also say that this spread is not my creation. I'm not sure who created it, but I really liked it when I saw it. So here it goes.
A Tarot Reading For The Week Ahead
Today I’m trying out a different spread. I’ve been doing a two-card spread with a third card as a thought-of-the-day card for my daily readings. Last week Sunday, I did a look ahead using a cross spread. I liked it, but I researched and found the spread I’ll be using today. This will be a three-card spread with a thought-of-the-day card. I like having that card in there. Let’s jump in.
What I learned from two months of learning to read tarot... so far.
It seems weird to write that headline. I’ve only been doing this for two months. But already, it feels like a lifetime of learning. And I think it feels that way because the skills involved in this have taken a lifetime to work on. Intuition is something I’ve been actively learning and growing my whole life, it seems.
What messages do the tarot cards have for us?
Today’s reading starts with the situation card, the Three of Pentacles. This card shows a man standing on a bench. Maybe he’s an artisan or a craftsperson working on a piece or painting the wall. Two others stand holding a document for the crafter to see.
What do the cards have for us today?
Welcome friends. I had a more challenging time than usual waking up this morning. It must be a Thursday thing. Almost the end of the week, not entirely, though. I hope you’re having a great week. Let’s dive in and see what the cards have for us today.
