The Day the Crayons Fell
I signed up for Vocal last year with all intentions of putting out content that (hopefully) people would want to read. My plan was to write on a regular basis and share life in a small town in the San Juan Mountains. Or just my opinion in general.

Sweet Golden Summer Sun
I grew up in Eastern Pennsylvania in the 80's in a town called Emmaus. This meant that summer included hot and humid days in an area that had suburbs and small towns surrounded by lots of small farms which had been in families since the arrival of their German ancestors in the 1700's.

Quilting
In 2001 I found myself single with a huge raise in income from a job change. I decided that this would be a good time to start a hobby just for myself and one from what I thought was part of the “dying arts.” You know, those handcrafts that only the older generation did and once they died, then so would it.
