Selkies
Imagine you are visiting the Northern Isles of Scotland and while you are looking out into the sea you see a seal that appears to be larger than usual with a very human like gaze to its eyes. It may be possible that is not a seal at all! Now imagine as you are watching the seal it comes ashore but once ashore it appears to be a human taking off a seal fur coat. But you know what you saw in the water was a seal, there was no way it could have been a person you were watching the whole time. Well maybe it was both, maybe it was a selkie. What is a selkie you ask? Well, they are the seal folk a form of Fae that live in the sea!

Qualifying in my First Tournament on Zed Run
As a kid growing up in Central Arkansas, I always enjoyed the opportunity to go watch the horse races at Oaklawn Racetrack in Hot Springs. When I was younger, I enjoyed just getting to see the horses and how fast they could run. As a I grew enjoyed other aspects of the race day experience such as learning to bet on the horses adding another element of excitement to the races. After I moved away, I still enjoyed following horse racing, but I wanted a little more. Then this past June I discovered Zed Run a virtual horse racing game based on the blockchain where racehorses exist as NFTs. After a little bit of research, I decided to get involved and purchased my first horse Sub-Zero.

The Philadelphia Experiment
The events of October 28th, 1943 are often debated as facts being covered up or a hoax. On that date The USS Eldridge was reportedly seen in the Naval Shipyard in Philadelphia before it vanished and reappeared after supposedly being teleported to a Naval facility in Norfolk, Virginia. The aftermath of this teleportation resulted in sailors becoming sick, left with burns, onset of mental illness and some even became fused to the ship. Supposedly, after the experiment all the sailors onboard were brainwashed so they would not recall the events. So, you may be wondering if all the sailors were brainwashed how did anyone find out? Well two “sources” of the events slowly shared their stories.

Outlaw Dog Duo
One day in 2003 I arrived at my Dad’s house for the weekend. What I did not know is that this weekend would be much different than any other before. As I got my bags unloaded from the truck he told me to let him get inside the house first so he could check on something. A few moments later he told me and my sister we could come inside. He then told us to go look out onto the back porch. As we got ready to open the door to the back porch, we saw through the window on the door two goofy and excited basset hounds waiting for us to come outside and play.

Wampus Cat Origins
The wampus cat is an intriguing cryptid feline found in North American folklore particularly within the Appalachian Mountains and surrounding regions. It has multiple origin stories and serves as a unique mascot to a very small number of educational institutes such as Conway High in Arkansas. It may have even been involved in a secret government project gone awry in Alabama during World War II.

Smelling Musical Memories
What is the most commonly shared trait among smells and music? Is it that both can be good, bad or indifferent? That they can be interpreted differently by each individual person? I believe it is their ability to strongly and randomly recall memories.
