I am an inspiring script/ novel writer.I hope what I write brings you some sort of comfort.
There once lived a dragon that guarded the mountains in the faraway countryside of Ireland. Those who claim to have seen the dragon have said its scales were ruby-red and shimmered in direct sunlight. The eyes of the beast were emerald-green and glowed in the darkness. The beauty of the majestic creature was so intriguing that it could hypnotize you into its fiery abyss. Legend says that it wanders in and out of the reliefs of the mountains, guarding an abandoned gold mine that lies deep below the surface. Many men have tried to find such gold but have been destroyed by the dragons’ hellfire breath. Those who lived to tell the tale swear it’s a female dragon since her beauty can distract you from your death. With such a reputation, the town folk nick-named her Mother Inferno.
They Live Among Us
“Nobody can hear a scream in the vacuum of space, or so they say. Speaking about space, our problems are now transcending on planet Earth. It was discovered that alien life form has been living among us for years. Where are they hiding and how can we find them? Breaking news at eight,” said a female newscaster on the television.
“Well good morning sunshine, the Earth says hello,” said a man who was standing above me as I woke up. I had never seen this person before. He was an older gentleman with a snarly white beard while wearing a conductor’s uniform. As I came too, I noticed I was on a fast-moving train with no memory of boarding.
The Bodies We Share
It is the year 4200 and robots and humans have just ended a five-year war that left the world in a chemical apocalypse. Regardless of the truce created between metal and flesh, neither side trusts each other in the aftermath of battle. Both species are on the brim of existence. Mechanical parts for the robots are hard to find while food becomes hard to grow, especially with the contaminated lands due to nuclear warfare. Constant threat of chemical storms of acid gas persist as a reminder of what happens when war meets toxic bombs. The majority of civilization is in hiding due to the constant threat of the destructive storms that threaten the existence of both humans and droids. The only two that are brave enough to face the journey for sanctuary are a robot named Thomas and a female soldier named 255A. They joined together to survive what is left of their now broken world.
Where The Night Sky Ends
“On today’s show we will be talking to a woman who claims she saw a green light right before she was kidnapped by aliens. Stay tuned,” the talk show host said as a producer behind a camera yelled cut. Chaos arose on set when the assistant couldn’t find Mary who was the guest attendee for the Roy Johnson Midnight Madness Show. Roy couldn’t be bothered since he was so full of himself to be distracted by such nonsense. Poor Mary was hiding in the stall in the women’s bathroom shaking from anxiety.
Take It From Me
I strive to always push myself, when, and only when the moment calls for it. Other than that, I tend to be a little bit lazy. It’s a natural art form that I strive for. I never asked to be lazy I just knew it worked for me. I bet you are wondering why does being lazy help with spring cleaning? One, your able to not hold any expectations too risky to stress your current mental health. Two, Spring time is all about renewal or rebirth. Why go through such trouble to clean and change things you have already made yourself comfortable with through fall and winter? It’s better to leave well enough alone. Take it from me. I am writing this passage for you and I only plan on doing the bare minimum of 600 words because over exerting myself for a competition feels like more work than I am willing to do. Plus, I don’t want to stress you (the reader) to have to endure any long passage because I too want you to be lazy with me.
The Golden Thieves
Thou shall not steal. Those were the words printed on a train advertisement that hung above the heads of the morning commuters. Amongst those commuters was a young college drop out named Jolene. She was down on her luck, in debt, and contemplating her next job opportunity. As the train stopped a young posh woman got up to exit. As she was leaving, a black leather wallet fell from her coat landing in the center of the walkway. Surprised no one noticed, Jolene grabbed the wallet in full intent of returning it.

On a Halloween afternoon, Mr. Crinkle was shopping at his local corner store. Outside there were strong winds; making the trees brush against the store window. “Damn wind, a storm is coming for sure.” said the Clerk out loud for anyone to hear him. Mr. Crinkle just huffed as he filled his basket with candles and salt. He then approached the register with his basket of items. Suddenly, a group of trick-or- treaters run inside. “Trick or treat!” the children screamed with excitement. “Here, take it you parasites!” said the Clerk as he handed them expired candy. The Clerk smiled in a joking way but the kids’ faces turned from excitement to frightened while in the presence of scary old Mr. Crinkle.
