Bio
I am a mum, nurse, student and small business owner. Writing is my outlet and allows me the freedom to express myself without fear of judgement. I am working on two fiction novels, which I cannot wait for the world to experience.

CHAPTER ONE I wasn't sure what woke me up. It was the middle of the night, and everything was quiet. Looking at the clock I saw it was 3am. Another three hours and I would have to get up and get ready for my first day of school. I was not looking forward to it. Up until summer break I had been living with my dad in New Jersey. It was just him and I since my mum passed away when I was seven. But he had just been asked to go to a work thing in Hong Kong. I wasn't sure exactly what he did, but I knew it was important enough so that he was the only person able to do the Hong Kong trip. It was going to take him up to a year to complete, so, rather than me tag along, he sent me to stay with my Aunt and Uncle in a tiny Colorado town called Lakes Valley.

Growing Up Invisible
# Prologue Beams of light from passing cars shone across the far wall of the room. Each time, the same scene was revealed. A bare room, a partly dismantled bed and a small figure draped in just a nightie and a towel. Even in sleep, the young girl still showed signs of crying herself to sleep. Dry tear tracks streaked her face and her tiny chest still occasionally rose sharply in memory of the sobs that racked her body only hours earlier.
