Test Tube Baby : What is a Test Tube Baby?
Test Tube Baby is a term used for babies born with the help of the In-vitro Fertilisation Fertilisation techniques where the sperm and the ovum are fertilised outside of the uterus and then reimplanted at the embryo stage into the mother’s uterus to achieve a viable pregnancy. Test tube baby means a baby that has been born by IVF treatment procedure, which means that there is no difference between IVF and Test tube baby. Test Tube Baby treatment is another name for IVF treatment. The word “test tube baby” however, is a misnomer. This is because the embryo for IVF treatment doesn’t grow and develop in the test tube, but in a woman’s uterus like a natural pregnancy does. The fertilisation of ovum and sperm does not happen in a test tube either, it happens in a petri dish. This word basically came into being to denote that the fertilisation happens out of the reproductive tract, but it is not an accurate name for IVF treatment. ‘It is important to understand that babies that are conceived using IVF Treatment develop in the uterus just like naturally conceived babies.

Psychological Impact of Reproductive Health on Women
Indian women are some of the best doctors, scientists, chefs, executives, artists, engineers, designers, pilots, athletes, social workers, and businesswomen. Just name any field there is to excel at, and Indian women would find a way to leave their mark with the quality of their work. However, this is just one side of the coin, and even to reach this position, women have had to work extremely hard – fighting patriarchy, sexism, prejudices, and stereotypes. The women who are capable of leading the world are born in a society that thinks reproductive health is something to be discussed within their homes, that too with whom the society deems fit. There is no concept of discussing reproductive health with the males in Indian households, no matter how progressive the inhabitants claim they are.

IVF Cost Calculator: How to Calculate IVF Cost
Anybody who has spent a decent amount of time trying to decode how exactly IVF costs are calculated would agree on one thing — it can be extremely confusing. IVF is still such a taboo topic, with female infertility and male infertility still being topics to be discussed in hole-and-corner, it becomes extremely difficult for the couple to get credible IVF-related queries answered. It seems as if every center and hospital is following a completely different costing and while some leeway can exist for differences such as the experience of the doctor and embryologist, facility of inhouse labs, superior quality consumables and injections, and infrastructure, it is perplexing to decipher how to decide upon the costs that you are supposed to pay.
