My First Story
Like a blind man seeing for the first time, the scales were ripped from my eyes. Part of me longed for them to be placed back, but another, much more prevalent part was overwhelmed with excitement. A New Home
"Nobody can hear a scream in the vacuum of space, or so they say," Declared Jackson's childhood hero, space explorer, and martian hunter Oliver Rowan from the screen of Jackson's television. The martian on this week's episode of Project Starlight howled in despair as Oliver slammed on the control console opening the airlock and launching the beast into the void that was space. Jackson watched in awe as Rowan pulled himself up against the vacuum of space and slammed the control panel again, sealing the airlock shut. Rowan fell to the ground as the airlock closed. He heroically climbed to his feet, pressing the intercom and announcing to the ship, "The Beast is gone." Jackson cheered aloud as it flashed to the credits of the show.

The Eyes of Jackdaw Mansion
Jared Bowing went running down the street as the storm clouds came rushing over the mountain. The sky was turning a mischievous shade of black. The wind picked up as thunder started to rumble. Jared knew that he had to get to his brother before the storm got any worse. As if on cue, the tornado siren started to shriek at its unfathomably high shrill. Most people in this moment would be panicking, but not Jared, because he found beauty in chaos. He loves the portrait of the sky, the mix of the splash splash splash of his feet hitting the ground, the thunder and the siren. For some reason it made sense to him. But sadly, Jared knew it wasn't safe so he ran to the inn where he and his brother had been staying as fast as he could. Jared and his adopted brother James took a vacation to this small town Liepaja, Latvia to really escape and get some time to take photos and relax.
