I was hungry for inspiration on cold winter day. I knew I needed some sort of small project, and I wanted it to involve knitting. The holidays were winding down so it wasn't obvious what to work on next. I had also recently moved, and more than 80% of my belongings were still in storage. The itch to knit was both inconvenient and sensible. I was craving something to soothe the stress of relocation and felt disconnected from my stash.
It was 2010. Placebo had just released some "new" album (likely Covers) and I noticed it was available on iTunes just when I needed it. I knew it was just a bunch of re-released bonus tracks, but its timeliness was satisfying. I was not doing well.
One of my goals for 2020 is to actually play through my "never touched" games.
I had no intention of launching a jewelry store.
I experience chronic pain, and there's actually nothing particularly unique about that.
