Sometimes I wonder why Then remember who I'm talking too There are plenty of things we know but choose to not see Close our eyes and pretend everything is pretty

Take a hit of it That one moment everything blurs away The feeling is numb in every way This hit has me on a cloud Not above or below but high enough to stay afloat
We decide what the next move is, what the next choice will be I decide If I say I want it this way then that Well that’s my decision but I can always take it back
There’s this distance I can’t see it but I feel it It lingers in the air as we communicate As we negotiate just how we can be
Don't try to confine me Define me by what you may see on the surface I am a deeper human being that can breathe in the ocean
There is another type of world Where our thoughts become our space Eyes closed and not awake Subconscious, sits up, no break
Between the lines There lies A connection A connection, that connects the electricity of our thoughts Flying sparks Like birds in the sky
Captivate my soul Teach me the unknown My eyes are blind so I can’t see Can you take my hand and guide me? Captivate my own belief
Crazy I’m crazy You're crazy We’re crazy I take a second to think about How I run with my thoughts and let them create my state
There are many colours Shades of all kinds Pigments that start to formulate Exactly what we feel inside The blue is of sadness
So I just signed up for something Unsure just what But I’ll try it out And see how far it will take me But I won’t hold on too tight
