EVERY WAKING HOUR OUTWORK THEM
You'll gain confidence by going to a spot that makes you feel good when the alarm clock goes off in the morning get up don't wait don't hesitate get up and you realize through hard work you can outwork anybody man how badass they are a real man in the dark when nobody's watching he put me in work a real man when coach ain't even watching he's studying film on his own because he's he lost the process obsession is going to be Talent every time you got all the talent in the world but are you obsessed is it all you ever think about let's face it it's you against you out there you have to be willing to outwork everybody in the world I became obsessed with being the baddest [ __ ] that God ever created am I that I don't care I believe it he said before you even become number one start to Proclaim it and saying long before it happened the journey getting there was hard ly going through it gotta be the hardest workers in the room don't [ __ ] the opportunity up and you will be a champion if you will be obese you're gonna have to go through something day after day after day when I have to grind have to grind aren't you ready to take a break yes but listen to me I can't why cause I grind for Jalen I grind for Jada I grind for Dede I grind for my mother are you hearing what I'm telling you so the days I want to hit that alarm clock I think about my why I can't quit no one will outwork me no one don't tell me you want it show me you want it are you willing to put in that time are you willing to study films are you willing to run those sprints all the way through not halfway [Music] you see the game of football was created the realm of Gladiators it was Arena a barbaric people Chansey for the warrior who kills the most you see football comes from the same bloodline of gladiators and when you step into that Arena oh it takes a special man to step into that Arena because when you step into that Arena you don't know if you're gonna walk out you don't know if you will live after these 60 minutes [Music] but that's what makes you special that's what separates you from the normal from the mediocre young king you gotta display something foreign that's the will to be unselfish because football takes a certain mentality to play it [Music] there's no better feeling in the world the smell of those hot dogs and hearing that band on Friday night there's no feeling better in the world and walking out on Saturday my door your friends and family watching see what you do all off season [Music] is what a season will be and once you understand it King this game it's not for nice people [Music] some play the game to just see the crowd [Music] and others play it to make their bloodline proud to take Mom out the projects and put sister in college [Music] to dress their mother up and give her the world to one day stand outside of a beautiful home and say this belongs to you Mom I ran those wrists I ran those heels I broke my arm you Mom [Applause] when I was bleeding for you Mama [Music] see Mama this gang yes it's dangerous [Music] but it teaches us how to be a man it teaches us responsibility thank you it teaches us to go to class because without it we can't do what we love and let's play the game of football believe that you have enough take all that pain that you felt the entire life and right now I'm talking to one of you seniors before you step on that field take yourself back to that dark place a place where you had no hope and I want you to remember how far you came and when you step on that field sign up a Friday night [Music] you look your teammates in the eyes and you tell them we didn't come this far to only come this far quiet [Music] foreign [Music] you know Denzel Washington talks about consistency the importance of consistency you got to put in the work you got to go for it but you have to have consistency because without consistency and putting in the work the dream is nothing but a dream right and I get all of that but you have to be able to look at yourself and you have to be able to be honest with yourself and know when you mess up because when you mess up it's going to get you what I mean when I say it's going to catch you is at some point you're going to look at you and you're going to say I didn't try I didn't go for it but I often tell people this particularly when it comes to relationships relationships come and go things don't work out sometimes there is nothing on Earth worse than when you know you're the reason see if somebody mistreats you if somebody that you love don't want you no more but you wanted them and you treated them right and blah blah blah but didn't work out it hurts but you'll be fine yeah yeah most people will be fine when you're not fun is when you know it was you and you messed up you messed you heard that everybody you've run across has had apprehension about who they are where they are where they're going Etc but really the most important thing it requires like a literal look in the mirror asking yourself how you will feel if you never try because there's no one that could become all they could be without looking at us absolutely what is your definition of greatness my definition of greatness sustained Excellence anybody could be great for a moment anybody could have their moment in the Sun but who you truly truly are at a particular craft it's whatever is done over a sustained period of time to me first take being number one is not what I'm proud of I'm proud of the fact that it's been 11 years [Music] the fact that I was able to do that at a continuous level that means I had to put my head down and just be about the business and do the work I'm brilliant because I know I'm not I steal from those who are and I learn from them and I disseminate that level of Brilliance that I got from other people always giving them credit number one laughs number two here's the biggest thing I think I'm the best because I think about about the company how can I help how can I make my bosses more money how can I get some of it that mentality that's the game is what makes me the best that's a game changer because what I'm saying is I'm not saying I'm the best because I articulate myself on television better than anybody else even though I think I work as hard as anybody but I work more than anybody or that I got even though I've been number one for 11 years in morning television part of the interruption is number one on ESPN not me I'm not those guys they're the institution you see what I'm saying I understand who I am but what I'm saying is is that you show me what winning is for the brand and I'm gonna bust my butt to go and get it for you I've shown I'm trustworthy that you can trust that I'm gonna be at the top or I'm gonna go to I'm gonna go down swing but there is never a moment that I'm on the air that I don't think about what they want [Music] and a lot of times it's just like a musician if you Jay-Z you run a Rock Nation you're a billionaire blah blah do you make music just for yourself or do you think about what the audience would want if everyone could take this in and realize it's about the win-win when I was playing high school ball as a freshman trying to make the varsity but I wasn't as good yet but I was tall so they put me in there right but I would listen to the coach and say in complaining about some of the starters who weren't hustling is that we need more hustle I need you guys diving for balls jumping out of bounds and I was just like I'm gonna be the hustle guy I'm gonna do what he needs what he wants so I can play and try to help him with me that got me on the team it's like working for a company it's like if you can help the company make more money and show them that they're going to want to continue to support your growth it's a win-win so this is for me that's brilliant and I don't think a lot of people probably think you think that way they don't because if I wasn't interested in making a difference if I wasn't interested in impacting the lives of others in a positive fashion they would have not been interested in giving me the time of day I had to be interested is something greater than myself to get their interest to elevated me being as excellent as I could possibly be on a day in day out week in week out month and month out year in year out basis why is the truth so important you have to have the truth in point the true self is found in that very uncomfortable Zone we all look for toughness we all want it but we look for in a comfortable environment you will not find toughness in a comfortable environment those of you who are listening to this you will not find it the only way you find it is to drown yourself in a position where you're just out of sorts where you can't swim and you're drowning we are drowning will you say no it ma'am dad once you come face to face with who you are you have a starting point [Music] it's in our head saying you know what man dude you're not you're not doing [ __ ] you're wasting a bunch of percentage here in this other 80 is suffering pain failure failure failure self-doubt Darkness and then a whole bunch of light but to get to this light you got to go through all of this [ __ ] you're not succeeding you're not cheaping it's because you're afraid to go in that dark place to find yourself you're setting goals you know you can reach and when you do that that fear that is security that doubt that's where you grow you must always set goals and you think you cannot achieve and then there you get better when that alarm clock goes off at four or five in the morning your mind says no you just say this is what we do it's what we do now because to get to where you want to go the amount of pain involved the amount of mental pain of how many times you're gonna have to do something that you don't want to do to get to where you want to go [Music] every day you must ask yourself did I do enough and then once you do this over and over and over again it becomes like breathing I don't want to live this lifestyle but to get to the other side of this have to so if you really want it you realize what trying is and what trying is not aim is inevitable pain is unavoidable we can't live without pain how much pain can you endure are you willing to use your pain sometimes pain can be your friend and sometimes pain can be your enemy there will always be pain there will always be betrayal there will always be somebody that doubts you somebody that overlooks you somebody that underpays you somebody that undervalues you somebody that talks the talk but doesn't walk the walk somebody that's with you but not for you we're always going to experience pain you just got to understand how to use pain to your advantage you've been through too much to retreat don't run from the discomfort lean into it feel it and remind yourself that it is only temporary pain can lift you up even when you're feeling down mean will remind you that you are still alive pain will push you beyond your threshold [Music] pain is just doing its job [Music] it's always going to be there there will always be a measure of pain in your life in order for things to change you've got to be willing to get up and do something you don't have to be perfect but you've got to make a move [Music] is an indicator light that lets you know something talking about the game we're talking about growing we're talking about suffering so that you can go further choice is yours use the pain to your advantage that Eric Thomas that grew up in Detroit and had like that Detroit mentality while I love it it doesn't transfer to every Community I had to let let the dream destroy you let it strip you let It remake and mold you don't be afraid some of you are afraid listen to me wherever you from if that's where you from if you leave you can always come back I promise you I promise you when you come back you can get right back in the conversation ain't nothing gonna change I promise you whatever world you're from if you go to other worlds you can always go back to that world the version of you that you are right now is a blessing but it won't take you to the next level what God you here won't take you there so let the dream destroy you tear you down redefine you build you back up make you stronger the first version of Eric Thomas the high school dropout that guy would have never been able to stand here and help you I had to destroy that Eric Thomas no matter who you are if you're average or if you're good when you get around greatness and you stay around greatness you start listening to Great podcasts and reading great books so you start hanging around great people when you start becoming a part of great masterminds God you you just evolve and I don't know what happened but every year I went from a high school dropout and homeless to I started to be coming every single day more of who I am and I can't believe it my next goal is to win the Nobel Prize why I had to come up with something I am giving you permission to be great I'm giving you permission to be everything you were called to be to do everything that you're capable of doing to have everything you're supposed to have listen to me you have to be careful when you hang around average people all they're going to do is tell you what they can't do and that's okay that they can't do it but that has absolutely nothing to do with us we can go from being homeless and high school dropouts to having phds writing books and becoming the voice of a generation we can do whatever we believe we can do and we don't need anybody's permission to do it but ours you are brilliant you are special yes you're different and yes you're not doing it the traditional route but greatness is upon you you got to keep going you got to keep going you got to keep going in the 12 years to get the four-year degree turn into a master's degree and the master's degree turn into a PhD God I can't believe it I went from being a High School Dropout from being homeless living in abandoned buildings to eating out of trash cans to Dr Eric Thomas to write him six books guys are you hearing what I'm saying today stop playing small and start playing big because yeah all right all right all right let's stop on three one two three ah one two three one two three [Applause] I am [Applause] foreign listen to me I was literally homeless I was coming to church not really taking showers I wasn't brushing my teeth and this guy looked at me and said you need to get your GED you need to leave Detroit I'm going to send you to college because greatness is upon you I was 16 17 years old I had never spoken a day in my life and this guy saw it like he saw something to me that I didn't see and he gave me permission to be where other people said I couldn't be he gave me permission to believe I was great he gave me permission to think I could change the world he gave me permission to start something that had never started in my family before he gave me permission to say I am I am oh listen to me very closely when you graduate and you get a job if you want to get paid you never say no you never say it can't get done don't you ever say out your mouth it can't get done even if you feel in your heart it can't get done you all said out loud you let the broke folks say that you let the folks they firing first to that you always say it could get done even if you don't think you can get done just say it and try to make up something I'm being real I'm being real I don't I don't deal with people who say or they get paid real low in my company they like maintenance when you say I don't know how well I don't think it could be done like okay cool you won't be like at the end of the year when bonuses getting passed out you won't be getting no bonus but I need you to you to chill the noise I need you to embrace the I am and however you get it done I need you to get it done [Music] not everyone needs to understand your purpose not everyone needs to understand your mission [Music] but the truth is it's about passion it's about discipline it's about awareness it's about accountability you should know that being uncomfortable is not the end for you it is a wake-up call that you have been comfortable for far too long people think if they're in a comfortable state that everything is okay but it's not okay because when chaos shows up you've got to have the ability to push through it to fight through it [Music] why were you at the gym so many hours because you were trying to get it [Music] why did you turn down those parties and those drinks and those drugs because you were trying to get it now it's time to grind now it's time to fight now it's time to believe now it's time to know get your success story has yet to be told it ain't gonna happen by itself it's not going to change by itself but you got to be prepared to put in the work to get to that next level and go beyond [Music] you Rise Up from negativity you Rise Up from Fear you Rise Up from doubt you Rise Up from weakness you Rise Up from the excuses you tell the world that you've got work to do so you gotta stay dedicated you got to keep on pushing forward you got to keep on fighting the good fight you've got to put aside the excuses because excuses won't lift you up excuses won't give you the power that you truly need don't sit back and have a pity party don't sit back and wait for an opportunity to happen it is up to you to go out there and get the opportunities you want success then go get it you wanna be better then be better you want something more than what you have right now then you got to have the desire within your heart and go strong and go with everything you have I'm ready to wake up each morning knowing that every day is a new adventure this is what it's all about the future but now my mind is clear you have to wake up from the lazy mentality you got to get past this mindset of thinking that everything is supposed to be easy believe me when I tell you I know what it feels like to be uncomfortable but I'm not the only one that had to suffer through something I'm not the only one in the world that had to go through some kind of agony some kind of lost some kind of setback but I didn't give up I didn't quit I had to realize that I need to be uncomfortable I didn't say that hey why am I doing this and why is this happening to me what did I do I didn't say that to myself so today you rise when they put you down you rise when emptiness starts to keep inside of your heart you rise when you start to feel that no one cares about you you rise when everyone thinks that you are less of yourself I'm here to remind you right now that you have everything you need to rise you know that good things Don't Come Easy but you are ready to embrace the hardship this is my life you are stronger now than ever before the time that you have right now is to make a difference make it possible through the gun and the bad make it possible do better be better keep moving never quit be productive be strong be powerful and from the bottom of my heart rise up and conduct your business pain doesn't mean you're finished your pain is trying to get you to get up see there's the physical pain there's the mental pain in fact there's even the spiritual pain it could be a painful day emotionally because it's a painful day relationally it it could be a painful day financially are you gonna complain or are you going to use it to your advantage your pain is calling you to a higher level of thinking and a higher level of performing we have to come to a conclusion and know you got to hurt so you can grow it hurts when we hit in the gym it hurts or we can lifting these weights and we're trying to accomplish a goal it hurts it's painful it's daunting it's cumbersome I don't want to do it I'm sweating I'm I'm bleeding I'm crying I'm suffering but after I've suffered there is a reward for those that are fighting and battling with mental stress let me remind you if it did not make you it can never break you you got to know how to rise above it you got to know how to endure and you got to know how to fight for and that pain there's never a day off maybe this pain wasn't my enemy maybe this pain was building me up even through the hardship [Music] so instead of a temporary fix I'm challenging you to use your pain as fuel so that you can begin to design the life you want you can't build much muscle without discomfort you can't build a business without experiencing challenges rejection you can't get a strong and Fit Body by just laying around and eating whatever you want to eat now in order to get there you have to experience the pain of discipline imagine if if pain is a fuel a fuel imagine if you could use the pain and passport and pain to push you to condition you to prepare you for the stages and the rooms you got to walk into in the tables you've got to sit at and the stages you have to stand on what if the pain can make you better what if the pain can feel muscle what if the pain could cause you to retire to LEAP further to run faster what if the pain could help you what if all pain isn't hurt but it's help I'm going to use the lessons I've learned to my advantage let pain serve its purpose you [Music] you're not supposed to go through life without a struggle you're not supposed to go through life without some kind of a setback throughout the course of your life you will build on it [Music] and you will grow from it [Music] if you really want to grow you've got to be willing to admit when you are the issue there were times when I was ready to give up but I pushed through the pain and I made it and that means that you can make it to just like you made it through your last storm you're gonna make it through this one dry those tears and get back to work dry those tears and get back to your mission when pain shows up at your door when people try to inject it inflict it use it to your advantage [Music] I'm not complaining because life got heavier I'm celebrating because I'm getting stronger let's go use the pain [Music] time is not up yet your time is right now your time is at this moment and through the pain you must rise up again but as long as I can feel it I'm not in a state of paralysis if you can feel it you can move it I know you're tired I know you're weary all the blood all the sweat all of the suffering I know you want to quit right now but this is not the time to let go what are you going to do with your pain [Music] [Music] thank you [Music]

know whoa whoa whoa I'm stuck Christian how do you feel about volley it's crazy no yeah I actually I can't believe it as well like there's no way in like 24 hours we'll be in Bali I don't think no for real might be a little bit but it's okay what's the saying it's all about the journey not the destination but the destination will be fired [Music] thank you finally got the goods I got a venti strawberry acai usually I get it with lemonade but they didn't have lemonade it's fine though it still tastes like really good what'd you get me I'm with extra caramel too caramel frappuccino we literally spent like 30 minutes there the line was so long and we could have mobile ordered I don't know what happened anyways wait can you hold this real quick it is currently at 1006. it does not feel like 10 p.m at all but we're hanging in there we're gonna check on what Mom and Dad are doing I think they're also getting a drink so thank you [Music] it is so late I'm so tired we've just been sitting over there but there's been loud music this whole time so that's why I haven't been vlogging okay but mom how do you feel about going on a 17-hour flight I feel pretty good because I'm with you guys oh personally we bought a knockout on the plane watch oh oh oh oh oh [Laughter] [Music] hey hey hey guys our flight is delayed so we're just sitting on the floor all right damn [Music] it [Music] [Laughter] look at it appreciate [Music] [Music] testing testing hopefully this audio works I'm filming from my phone you're so smart I don't I don't even know if it's gonna work okay guys update we're almost 10 hours into the flight like it's crazy like I've been sleeping this whole time I've been sleeping like a baby it's pretty good and all of us yeah thank God for this pillow and this blanket that they provided thank gosh these and I got those for her Nicole got these for me for was it Mother's Day yes but it's like a game changer this and the Imus it's like noise cancellation and then blocking out everything oh my God yep like put me straight to sleep yep definitely been a great flight so far they fed us two meals one for breakfast and one for or wait it was dinner first earlier like way back and then we just had breakfast what'd you have for breakfast oh yeah I had pancakes mom had these noodles I liked hers better so I still always noodles over anything else wait is that in frame oh no it's like ears and frame dad say hi yeah that's right but we have like less than seven hours left which is crazy so I'm just gonna use this time to edit do work oh and guess what Mom figured out how to put Wi-Fi on our devices so now we have Wi-Fi on the plane Jenny Manila was the thing thank you but guys our seats are literally so nice like we can recline this and then also a little thing comes up for our feet to rest I want to say like two and a half feet in front of us like I was gonna sleep on the floor earlier literally yeah so that was real I woke up from one of my one of my Slumbers and then she goes do you want to go on the floor I was like what she was like I might sleep on the floor I was like why well because we have like pillows and blankets and there's like the pillows not pillows and like there's so much space like in the front of us I could have like did fetal position on the floor very cozy bro I did not think you were being for real like that's crazy 100 okay whatever well no we're not gonna sleep on the floor our seats are nice enough okay anyways but yeah there have been no crying babies knock on wood even if there was I have no excuses okay well I don't I think it's just crazy though how like fast this flight has been going though because usually even if it's like a six hour flight I sleep for like maybe half of it and then I'm like up for the other half but like a long day maybe I don't know we're so yeah I think it was perfect like since our flight was at night time like literally bedtime I'm sorry no what um it could be a little News correspondent it just sucks though because Bali is gonna be 15 plus hours so we're gonna be so jet lagged like it's literally day and night good news I searched up that there's further so we can look like yeah boys this audio thing doesn't work I'm gonna be really sad because we've just been talking for the last five minutes two nothing please please work okay well I guess I'll pull out my laptop now and start working that was my update [Music] hello again I'm back with another update my mom just said this looks like a scary movie but guys we only have two hours left off the plane ride it's really crazy basically I've just been editing this whole time I finished a whole video and now I'm on to the next like we're being so productive I don't know why but this is such an easy flight I am very tired like I think the second flight I will probably sleep on that but to finish this one off I think I'm just gonna edit for the rest my mom was working for a little bit and took a little nap she's back up my dad has been working and then Christian just woke up from his nap he's been sleeping like this whole plane ride oh hello okay anyways I'm gonna go back to editing two hours left that's all okay bye we made it to Singapore I'm excited now that I'm off that seven hour seven hour 17 hour flight definitely feeling it I'm so tired of working you could have slept like Christian it went by fast but like I don't really know what's happening like life doesn't feel real at the moment I don't even know like we don't even know we're going the right way oh yeah okay so now we have a three hour layover in Singapore and then our flight to Bali but we currently are walking and we don't know where we're going to be I think we have to go to customs because we're going to be traveling to a different country right and we just came from a different country yeah thankfully we don't have to get our bags that we checked in those will arrive in Bali hopefully they don't get lost that's right but it's currently 4 P.M in La back home 7 A.M here in Singapore and I think 8 A.M in Bali so we're gonna have to adjust to the time oh my gosh so guys the Singapore airport is like very cool let's ask the boys how their flight was how was the fight for you guys it was great I just slept yeah I literally looked over every time because it was sleeping like I think I only saw you awake for one minute except for like 14 hours no joke okay oh my gosh of course that would be dad's answer very nice very nice oh my gosh you guys look at this airport look a whole Tiffany and Co back there stop a Louis Vuitton okay guys we know where we're going so our gate yeah we think our gate is C11 you okay oh he just had a car our Gator C11 but before that is like immigration haul for C so I think we have to go see that first and then we'll be at our gate and then hopefully we have time to roam around and explore I know we're like walking where we came from but it's fine all right we found it turns out no Customs oh I guess if we left out of the terminal then we would have to do all that but since we just came here so now now we have three hours so now we're just gonna explore Singapore airport we found these cards also back home this elevator or escalator thingy this is not an escalator whatever that moving thing is on the right side here it's on the left side actually it's just the U.S just like do you know that are you just saying I knew it I was like he doesn't actually know that no but it kind of makes sense though like if they do drive on the other side then is that what I mean I'm just kidding why would you say that if you want because wow you guys doing is this weird that I'm filming okay the Singapore bathroom look at this LAX isn't like this casually a view of all that could do your makeup over here over here okay let's go LAX zero Singapore airport one we are getting food at this Ramen place this looks so yummy and we're gonna get drinks too Singapore Sprite we're sharing these two ramens spicy tonkatsu and this is like a chicken broth yeah Christian get it together man it has the little fish cakes okay guys we're gonna try more food there is more food on the third floor so where did we go we went to the third floor surprise surprise we got more soup this is what is that wonton noodles wonton noodle soup and then fish ball soup and then me and Christian are playing Pokemon look I just kind of new one I forgot to tell you guys earlier at Starbucks back at home while we were in line we got two snorlaxes so good let me show y'all oh you beat me that's it Snorlax this is my camera's about to die is it good oh I like this song you like baseball now we're in line for this toast place every time we come here there's a long line I know we thought right now long line then so then we decided to check it out because they're still a long line okay we're gonna see if it's good or not fun right yeah okay we got like a french toast bread peanut butter bread brown sugar bread and just sprinkling butter wow that was good what is that you can just bite it right now oh there's egg huh I'm gonna try Singapore milk tea This coffee's good ooh yummy this is good though because it'll give us energy for the rest of the day since it's still like and the bread will be good so then we won't be hungry because it might take a while for us to eat again now we're back at the gate we're eating all the toast it's actually pretty good it's literally just like bread and butter or like red and pink butter but like it's actually pretty good but that is the end of our Singapore airport Adventures for today we will be back here in a week when we go home yeah or like 10 oh sorry like two weeks but I'm gonna charge my camera EDUCATION
Hello hope you liked the little the little thing I'm doing here what's up with an anime thing that I can do oh I'll never get my dignity back for that if you're watching this video you're probably online a bit too much and that probably makes you a little bit nervous to some degree after all we're always talking on this channel about how misinformation seems to spread online like wildfire as it turns out misinformation is being spread on Tick Tock can you believe it maybe it's it's we should go back to the times where being physically strong was the most important thing which was never really a thing but either way because a lot of the time when people talk about things like that they're wrong and like this doesn't really check out a lot of tick tocks and a lot of comments are using it the wrong way it's false no way not this time you're on not this time it never happened but it's not just misinformation is it it's the seeming refusal to be media literate at all to read articles before sharing them to figure out whether or not they're clearly fake or not it's the feeling that reading comprehension and overall Common Sense on these websites are piss poor a common reaction to this is to say that it's because the education system is going down the toilet in insert country here for example in my birthplace there are indeed some troubling statistics the U.S experiences a daunting 40 College Dropout rate every year and average scores between 2020 and 2022 in math and reading fell by a level not seen in decades the thing is this topic this opinion that education is going down the drain with those kinds of indicators used to substantiate it is extremely popular as a window for right wing reactionary talking points if you Google search U.S school system failing you're going to be greeted with a lot of interesting op-eds from interesting Publications blaming labor unions and saying that public schools are shifting their focus from excellence in mathematics science reading history and other disciplines toward the implementation of critical race Theory and other neo-marxist philosophies cool of course someone like me who's actually worked in schools will probably tell you that not only are critical race Theory and Marxism barely taught at all save for a couple of college courses but that even if they were students wouldn't give half a [ __ ] anyway the reality has long been that students hate school and don't pay attention Beyond trying to get good grades if even that what this ironically helps reveal is that aside from the fact that anti-vaxx movements and transphobia and other big misinformation movements online are headed by grown ass adults is the fact that education has clearly been bad for a long time young people don't need to be told that they don't know anything and that the school is failing them from people who still think Dr Phil is an actual doctor I'm sorry Dr Phil it's a good program but damn what social media should reveal to us is that the school system has actually never been good enough now for us not for our parents or our grandparents the more we understand about our school system the more we realize how little it actually does to help us learn and how crucial it is that we begin to rethink education as a whole we need to push for upcoming generations to experience education that is self-directed and critically conscious more on this after the break Dr Naomi Fisher's 2021 book changing our minds how children can take control of their own learning puts forth a case for something called self-directed learning Fisher a practicing clinical psychologist analyzes how compulsory education has constructed is insufficient and does little to provide the type of positive educational outcomes it boasts of but continues in great part because we've normalized it and have attached ourselves to it Fisher writes most of us cannot imagine how a child can become educated if they don't go to school this means that when a child is not thriving at school we don't really consider alternatives we try different schools or more supported school we take the child to be assessed for their disorders and pay for therapists all in the hope that we can get the help they need to get them through school leaving the school system altogether is usually portrayed as a disaster it's called dropping out and nothing good comes of that because of this labeling and typecasting that school essentially forces onto children Fisher argues that the school system often hailed as some something that can level the playing field for students of all backgrounds actually furthers inequities schools in fact exacerbate the inequalities which are already present this is because they constantly compare children against each other and the children know this those who do best get access to more interesting opportunities and are given Awards they are told that they are gifted and talented those who don't do so well are doomed to spend their time repeating the material they didn't learn the first time around becoming disengaged and miserable in the process they are told they have learning difficulties or special educational needs these groups are associated with socioeconomic status richer children are more likely to do well while poorer children do less well reading changing our minds is basically like listening to a trained professional tell you that everything you've been feeling since childhood is valid because we all know the pressures and the competitions that we've suffered through in the school system seemingly for No Gain being told they were one of the smart kids or that we're not one of the smart kids and our Ambitions and social habits being dictated to us as a result what a great thing to tell a child from eight years old that they are this type of person and that they'll never be on the other side unless they drastically change who they are and Bingo was his name-o added extra clap not College material and these things influence how we see ourselves for the rest of our lives including our relationship to Authority and our relationship to our own brain brains our own brains yeah a great deal of this is apparent in the realm of standardized testing we've normalized a system where students take tests across the country according to how old they are and then rank them based on how well they do which subsequently apparently determines how well they'll do for the rest of their lives in school and in work it's no wonder we grow up to have such unhealthy relationships with competition and with learning things with any process of learning that we undergo being shadowed with thoughts that we should be doing better because this person is doing better or why are we doing good when we're not trying and this in turn creates an anxious and counter-intuitive School experience for children one thing is certain test results are used to limit children's opportunities because they are inherently competitive the whole point of a test is to compare and contrast if everyone does well in a test then it's not a useful test someone has to be the loser sounds a lot like the real world to be fair but it's not just the inhumane way that we make kids compete to determine the rest of their lives through testing that inherently problematic standardized testing is also just not good at determining how good a student is in the first place geyser and Atkinson write in the book s.a.t Wars that irrespective of the quality or type of school attended high school GPA proved the best predictor not only of freshman grades in college as many students have shown but also of long-term College outcomes such as cumulative grade point average and four-year graduation in this way standardized testing is more of an indicator of inequality than it is any type of predictor of people's futures and careers and this shouldn't be shocking considered that it was pioneered in the United States by a eugenicist as John Rosales and Tim Walker report for the National Education Association and his 1923 book a study of American intelligence psychologist and eugenicist Carl Brigham wrote that African Americans were on the low end of the racial ethnic and or cultural Spectrum testing he believed showed the superiority of the Nordic race Group whatever that is and warned of the promiscuous intermingling of new immigrants in the American gene pool furthermore the education system he argued was in Decline and will proceed with an accelerating rate as the racial mixture becomes even more and more extensive of course this couldn't at all have any impact today I mean it's not like people are saying that the education system is declining because they're teaching children about critical race Theory meanwhile most of us say that we don't actually learn anything in school and those observations are founded not only is our curricula generally not focused at all on the information that we find important as adults the competitive conformist nature of school makes it so that kids are more oriented towards following Authority and following mandates than they are for pursuing and accruing knowledge now it's worth noting that Dr Fisher's from the UK I'm from the U.S and so that's the perspective that I'm speaking from but no matter where you are in the world dear viewer there's a likelihood that you relate to at least some of what I'm talking about because this standardized testing and conformist school system is pretty much popular everywhere now at one point Fisher notes in the vaunted Singaporean school system that children take an exam at the end of primary school age 12 which determines their entire life opportunities I talked to a friend about what kind of pressures they experienced as a student in Singapore to say the least it [ __ ] sucked ass school has genuinely made me more mentally ill because it was very much just like hey if you fail this one thing this one time your entire life is screwed the wildest thing about this is that I've had a grown woman who was my psychiatrist who is my psychiatrist look me in the eye and say that JC was the most stressful time of her life she is a PhD psychiatrist working in an understaffed hospital and she said that that was less stressful than going to JC I feel like every week I would see somebody in public having a mental breakdown yeah no you are absolutely correct that would happen there have been several times where like people have just like broken down crying I had panic attacks during class in literature class the teacher had handled it really well and another time in like chemistry class the girl was kind of just left crying as the teacher kept going like and I remember EX implicitly bringing up to the teacher like can I take it to the med Bay or something and she was like no like she's calming down and as long as she's in class at least she's still like you know learning and absorbing and I'm like is that really important so do you think like a lot of the pressure came from school or did like a home have a lot of influence in it because I feel it comes from everyone I think yeah especially coming from like a sap school from like those like fancy upper middle class Catholic schools I remember in primary school after midterms hearing stories of oh yeah this kid came back to school with cane marks on this or which is all up and down his arms for every point he didn't get from Full mocks they would gain him once and that was just like a story people told each other not like a thing to bring up to the authorities or like no I think I lucked out in my secondary school where a lot of my teachers were really good and like really kind and supportive you know like when I was in primary school and I think even up to secondary school public paintings were still a thing I never saw one but I know it was a thing that happened they would basically during morning assembly in front of the entire School bring the kid up onto stage and came them it doesn't happen anymore right like it's down like it's it's definitely gone now right having mental illness is especially difficult in JC I don't know if there's any accommodations but I went to see the school counselor for two years and she didn't say anything about potentially oh there were there's like a official Avenue you can go through to potentially make your time a little easier it was no you have to learn how to deal with this yourself I have memory issues because I have had depression my entire life this was my H3 history teacher I did like an example essay for him to look at and he read the essay looked at me and was like I can see and know that you are learning in class and you know all of the historical arguments that I'm teaching you but I cannot give you any marks because you cannot remember any of the dates this kind of thing is systemic it is not about how much you learn and how much you understand about the subject it is how well you are able to be neurotypical in a way that is good for exams you ought to be a good worker you are at hard to stress yourself out and make a schedule based on the demands of the people who you work under I know exactly what foreign perception of the education system is like but it's like highly ranked education system you turn out some real smart people it correct in so far has the metrics that we have collectively set up to determine these things have shown that singaporeans are very good at taking tests and at what cost and I don't think they're good at being people I want to elaborate on that point singaporeans aren't good at being people we are very bad at any other skill that we would actually need to live even after all of this it is still true that people with good grades at JC get a better chance at Living a decent life in Singapore I was so burned out from a levels that by the time I had moved to a different country by the end of the year after the exams were over it's like I didn't even like care about my results anymore it stopped being this big proof of what I should be doing with my future and it became like this traumatic event that I needed to forget immediately I'm living a completely different life now I'm living as if I never went to school at all and I'm doing perfectly fine and I feel like I was lied to like why were all the kids my age getting gray hairs and why are we staying in the library till 9 pm at night the snacks were fun orientation was fun but like what was all of that for Fisher's answer to this apparently inept system is to propose self-directed learning as an alternative and they are self-directed schools all over the world from Mexico to Syria and the list is likely to grow over time self-directed learning environments allow students the resources and social dynamics to explore what they want to learn on their own with their own motivations on their own time she advocates for this through her own knowledge of psychology writing that we can see from young children that it is not necessary to force children to learn humans are born curious and with a desire to learn from their environment we can see from experiments and observational studies that children are motivated to learn complex skills without instruction like think about how complicated and difficult it is to get really good at your favorite video game and think about all the hours that you may have put into doing just that without having to be pushed to do it you do it on your own because you don't feel pressure and because because you have a genuine curiosity and excitement to do it that is unless your favorite game is the Sims in which case you're lazy now the first problem with this will be making these kinds of schools accessible to all schools like New York City's agile Learning Center in Harlem do a good job of recommending tuition for various income levels but this simply is not going to be the case around the world there's finance that goes into this and additionally there are many many places in the world that need many many schools to be built and ultimately it's really hard to get a parent to push back against the pressure from other people and push back against what they know and the feeling that they might be failing their child in a risky situation in order to do this but there's risks for keeping kids in normal school too and they're not just light ones they can be pretty severe unless you think Society is just perfectly good right now in which case forget why are you watching this video what are you doing here until we get rid of this system of standardized testing and Scholastic Conformity we should never be surprised or blameful of students and their anxieties their difficulties and their animosities and the things that they don't learn now self-directed learning schools aren't going to be enough to fix that let's talk about some of the social and economic implications of this after another break thanks for watching the breaks it helps me a lot with the channel so self-directed learning is never going to be the end-all be-all especially with the way things are currently constructed and it's not just enough to say school sucks just take the kids out have them learn on their own in the forest because ultimately we don't truly do anything let alone learn on our own our learning and our socialization are very heavily influenced by the situations we grew up in including the social and economic conditions of Our Lives now the modern day origins of compulsory education date back to 16th century Prussia in 1524 Martin Luther wrote a big thing recommending it and it wasn't until two centuries later where a modern standardized compulsory education system was passed in Prussia this called for children to be educated from ages 5 to 13 or 14 with the primary purpose of having them learn Christianity and basic literacy because there's two important things in the world it's Jesus in the Bible but it wasn't until the beginning of the 20th century when Prussia was really able to spread that system throughout the state after the end of child labor and a gradual rise in attendance and other such things in general the late 1800s and early 1900s is the time period wherein all the sort of developed States across the world began to build their compulsory education systems and really fund them that includes France Russia and the US I wonder what the context was economically that influenced States into making these big changes look I get flagged a lot for talking about capitalism and blaming all bad things from from economic problems to farts on capitalism and without doing the important work of digging into the histories of things before and during capitalism but when it comes to the school system the connection with capitalism is pretty clear labor laws and including especially child labor laws were very contentious subjects within the Western World and this modern school system provided an effect active means for keeping kids somewhere if it's not the workplace and having them train in an efficient and streamlined and conformist way so that they could be effective once they graduated at the ages of 14 or 16 or whatever the the idea of adolescence has changed a lot because it turns out that capitalists really liked making kids work because they couldn't really do much and they usually did what they were told so that had to change a lot over time and the school system sort of comes in to fill the gaps these systems were constructed with economic and social goals with State development goals so schools were never going to teach students the information that made them Rebel that made them question the state that they lived in and tried to do something about it whether that made kids smarter or not a really big problem that I've seen now when it comes to the conversation of critiques of education is that they're dominated by reactionary politics in a contradictory desire to avoid being controlled and being made a part of the social order while also wishing to go back to the old good social order in order to create a more homogeneous and controllable Workforce because that's what it did you know and you reconcile this contradiction by manipulating class struggle and manipulating miseducation a person can valorize the standardized test scores a country receives and the school system that it enforces while simultaneously being non-conformist and being against the way that school teaches even hating the school system because both can be neatly blamed on the elites and the elites's desire to make kids learn about racism the ideology like any ideology that's very popular doesn't have to be consistent it doesn't have to be super coherent it just has to be emotionally riveting it has to be empowered by fear and distrust one of the first books that I saw recommended when I started researching on this topic of education and critiques of education and Conformity was a book called dumbing us down by John Taylor gato who was a former school teacher and then became sort of an activist figure talking about how bad schools are I saw this thing recommended in the critical theory subreddit I was expecting some at least kind of Lefty critical Consciousness conversations about school so I was taken aback when I saw that audiobooks were made available for this book on YouTube but only from channels like these which also post videos about the gay agenda look I'm not watching a little Boosie video in 2023 unless it's like wipe me down I don't understand how his interviews are still a thing but anyway even the introduction of the audiobook boasts about its Origins from a library for truth Seekers and Free Speech Advocates these correlations are not a coincidence even though godo in this book has many useful and poignantly written examples of how schools are bad and his experiences as a school teacher and the negative discriminatory effects of schools on children It ultimately seems to be written to empower A Narrative of a conspiracy of Elites to control good Christian people the book laments how now good people wait for an expert to tell them what to do egats and there's a bit more game given up when Garo further laments that Society has come increasingly under central control since just before the Civil War whoa what horrible thing happened during the Civil War that allowed the state to have more control over us what precedent was set and what was it in the name of of how dare those powerful people bring forth a fundamental betrayal of the American Revolution by bringing to life the ancient pharonic dream of Egypt compulsory subordination for all hey hey who put that whistle in that dog's mouth who did it now what's compelling about godo's book is that it's not just some hard right wild Christian book fundamentalistly arguing that schools are bad it's actually pretty complex and at points very empathetic it talks about how the poor and how people of color are marginalized by the school system but it's also deeply reactionary it's no wonder that one of godo's last media appearances came in a documentary called indoctrination public schools and the decline of Christianity in America and that years after his passing Republican Senators like Ron DeSantis are getting their Fame off of passing bills like the stop woke act and promise that our school system is for educating in kids not indoctrinating them the truth is that the modern day right wing similar to other communities in the world is comprised of a lot of people who were terrorized by this school system and they've been told that their class antagonisms their valid resistance of authority and conformity in schools their distrust of the system are to be blamed on and to be engaged in with violent oftentimes fights against the very people who are criticizing that system and who are rebelling against it this is why someone like Paolo friari in his book pedagogy of the oppressed hold such an important place in this conversation rather than believe in an order of superiority or inherent qualities among humans friari told us that the oppressed must not in seeking to regain their Humanity which is a way to create it become in turn oppressors of the oppressors but rather restorers of the humanity of both in this way education has to to reveal itself to us as not only a channel for competition not only a method of indoctrination but as a tool for Collective Liberation learning is a natural human thing and we hate learning because we've been dehumanized and if this system that names itself after this human tendency that claims to give us this beautiful thing of learning is actually this tool that makes us resistant towards education in the first place to the point we'd rather accept and spread misinformation and fight over it rather than learn enjoyably and peacefully in communities then it's probably not doing a very good job of the thing it's supposed to do and maybe that's the point thanks for watching I'm Elliot hit the like button comment send a Kofi if you want to support the project it helps a lot and tell us what your experiences with education are in your part of the world whether that's the us or any other country and tell us what your experiences of Education are from where you're from okay whoo

PLACES ON EARTH WHERE GRAVITY DOES NOT SEEM TO WORK
If it weren't for the gravitational force on earth we would float instead of walk i have what we call the board of mystery it's what binds us and mostly everything around us to the earth often really hit my face on the other side of the wall but in some places on earth a strange phenomenon is at work and the gravitational force becomes zero from the waterfall that's flow defies logic to the mystery anomaly in a forest outside of santa cruz california here are 15 places on earth where gravity doesn't seem to work number 15 upside down waterfall on the outer cliffs of oahu hawaii you will find a truly stunning sight a real tourist attraction but not for the reason you may think the waipuhiyah falls are not falls as their name suggests in fact they don't appear to fall anywhere instead their waters spray high into the sky giving them the nickname of upside down waterfall they're observed from a distance to ensure the watcher is not completely washed away and only appear during the rainy season the reason for this abnormality has more to do with the 100 foot cliff that it sits upon rather than any type of magic as the water falls to the sea below strong winds push the water back upwards it then sprays towards the land above essentially making the falls appear as if they're traveling backwards instead of forwards and if this site alone isn't enough to knock your socks off the waterfall also shields a hidden cave that sits in the middle of the cliff it would make the perfect hiding place if you never wanted to be found if you think you might like to visit this extraordinary landmark i suggest you plan ahead the journey starts with a steep slippery slope and winds through the forests the track is marked with colored ribbons and chalk to aid in a safe return but be careful it is a hazardous trip for child or animal and make sure to pack your towel before we go on like this video smash the subscribe button and click the notification bell right now or slenderman will come from under your bed while you're sleeping [Applause] now it's time for the star topic is it a bird is it a plane no it's a levitating rock yeah you saw it here first the rock in this picture appears to be airborne and if its size is anything to go by it can't have just been thrown in the air for the photo this is one hefty rock well at least it appears to be we don't really know is the photo simply a fine example of trick photography like those of the eiffel tower taken at such a distance it appears to be sitting in the palm of an outstretched hand has the photo been altered to make it seem more intriguing than it really is or maybe this is one of the places on earth that are like space where gravity doesn't exist what possible explanation could there be for this unusual phenomenon do you have any ideas as always comment down below with the hashtag star topic and let us know your opinion in relation to what we just showed on screen let's move on to the next one number 14 santa cruz's mystery spot santa cruz is well known for its moderate climate natural environment coastlines and redwood forests however hidden amongst the land is the mystery spot of gravity hill i came here when i was a little kid and then i was so blown away in what was going on this spot is said to defy gravity due to its slightly tilted nature located within the redwood forests of santa cruz california this mysterious spot has captured the hearts and minds of tourists the whole world over it has been open for visitors since 1940. gravity hill is a destination like no other staircase don't jump off don't lean too much it warps visitors perception of the height and orientation of many objects in the area buildings appear slanted the water seems to run upwards balls roll up hill and people can even lean forward on a 45 degree angle without falling flat on their face you may be scratching your head as to how all this works well although the mystery behind gravity hill has been speculated upon for years no answer has been found some believe a spacecraft was secretly buried beneath the earth causing an electronic force to move through the ground others believe it is carbon dioxide permeating from the earth who knows perhaps you have your own theory number 13. magnetic hill in canada as the terrain rises and falls an optical illusion is created once you get there you're gonna put the car in neutral let the brakes go it's gonna roll all the way back up where we are an illusion that makes the spectator wonder where they stand and what is going on this is exactly how you would feel if you visited magnetic hill located at the northwestern edge of moncton canada the hill creates quite the surprise for guests with its unusual surroundings many people who have traveled along the roads and through the hills have discovered a strange phenomenon and then we're supposed to take our foot off the brake at the post now we all know that when a car is sat at the top of a hill it naturally runs downwards due to gravity but at magnetic hill things run a little differently in fact it might sound crazy but cars can actually travel upwards from the bottom of the hill with no acceleration this strange irregularity is said to occur in just one spot baffling people for over 80 years video proof shows drivers turning their cars off at the bottom of the hill releasing the brake and slowly rolling backwards uphill can you imagine this can be explained through the misinterpretation of the hills when we cannot see the horizon line these hills appear to be an incline but are actually a part of a larger downhill decline this is just crazy and must be seen to be believed number 12 mount rgats armenia if you have plans to travel the world you may want to make a stop near the border of turkey and armenia here you will lay witness to an anti-gravity phenomenon cars appear to go uphill by themselves and streams that should flow downhill don't it's a crazy sight to see in fact you may want to pinch yourself to make sure you aren't dreaming mount our gats is the exact location that you will experience this abnormality an extinct volcano our gats is now the highest mountain in armenia the fact that it's an extinct volcano has people suggesting that this is the reason why these bizarre events occur however the scientific reason behind this is the fact that the horizon line cannot be seen between the rises and falls of the surrounding landscape giving the misinterpretation of level ground to take in the true beauty of this area there's a hiking trail around the mountain this trail is said to take up to eight hours so it may pay to pack a pair of comfortable shoes number 11 hoover dam surely you've all heard of the hoover dam if you haven't i don't know where you've been hiding the hoover dam located in the black canyon of the colorado river in the united states is noted for being a concrete arch-gravity dam like its name suggests the dam creates a vacuum with many people traveling to it to try and pour water off the side what happens to that water however is what leaves them in complete amazement although it's poured downwards out of their bottles and over the side it then ends up spraying back up towards them the cause of this is simple it all comes down to the shape of the dam and the wind it is effectively like throwing a ball at a brick wall the wind hits the side of the dam and needs somewhere to go the shape of the dam propels the wind upwards creating an updraft this ultimately catches the poured out water pushing it upwards towards the sky the wind catches the water because it's light so don't throw anything else over or you might be disappointed number 10 the oregon vortex opened a visitor since 1930 the oregon vortex is a must-see roadside attraction located in gold hill oregon usa this area defies gravity vortex creating the illusion to the phenomenon and also has a bone-chilling backstory what more could anyone want built on what is believed to be ancient native american forbidden land this area is prone to paranormal events dating back centuries the attraction consists of many interesting effects and optical illusions and is one of the oldest in the area people are drawn from near and far to see the place where bubble levels tape measures yard sticks uphill ball rolling and plumb lines are used to demonstrate its anti-gravity properties the paranormal effect creates a 165-foot magnet radius which is said to be the cause of the bending light altering of masses and gravity defiance i don't know about you but the combination of paranormal activity and a lack of gravity sounds like the perfect mix to me this is a must see for the adventurer's to-do list don't you agree number nine the mysterious road in south korea the world really is a fascinating place so fascinating it can often leave you speechless this mystery in jeju south korea is one that'll have you guessing well after you have visited an optical illusion in the form of a mysterious road that defies gravity lies on gravity hill the road is on a slight downward incline but actually looks like it slopes uphill it really is quite the unusual sight so right now the car is in neutral look at this in fact it makes you want to blink to check if what you're seeing is real this is caused by the illusion that the surrounding land and layout is flat a gravity hill area can make it seem like a car that is left out of gear and with no foot on the accelerator can move up hill by itself this area can also make water appear like it's flowing upwards people who have experienced the mysterious road can't believe their eyes when their cars look to be traveling uphill by themselves the mysterious road runs for about 100 meters and has a clearly marked starting end end point if you're visiting this area you better like crowds because there are literally thousands of tourists flooding to witness this phenomenon each year number eight golden rock myanmar for many centuries the golden rock has been defying the laws of gravity located in mon state myanmar the kiaike tio pagoda or golden rock is a 611 ton giant it is huge measuring 5 meters high and with a circumference of 50 feet so there's a section just up here that you can walk onto and stick some gold leaf onto the rock it sits within a world-renowned buddhist pilgrimage site that houses a small pagoda which is built on top of the granite boulder these attractions each become a thing of beauty when the sun reflects off their surfaces creating a golden gleam the boulder is precariously perched up high on the side of mount ike tio and is said to be held by just one strand of the buddha's hair whether that's true or not remains to be seen but it certainly adds to the rocks of heel at first glance it looks like the boulder's floating in the air and perhaps even on the verge of rolling down the cliff the rock hangs off the cliff side by at least half its actual size sitting above a vertical drop over the deep valley below travelers come to see the rock from all over the world most believe that a mere glimpse will be blessing enough and they lay gifts and food as an offering to the gods this golden beauty is well worth a look but i would hate to be up close if it were to ever slip number seven stone of devosco argentina in a fight between a boulder and gravity gravity is the clear winner the devosco stone as it was named sat quite nicely upon the face of a massive rock formation before gravity pushed it over the edge but before it fell it spent thousands of years perched up on the hill defying gravity could you imagine being taunted for that many years poor gravity i bet it was pleased when the boulder finally fell the fallen 300-ton boulder which split into several pieces on impact was replaced by a nine-ton plastic replica that is fixed to the rock formation around it the stone of davasco has many legends and stories surrounding it many believing that when people began to settle in the area a king's favorite son was responsible he not only brought them to the area he also taught them cattle breeding and farming when he left he promised the people he would return leaving the huge stone on the top of the mountain as a reminder he is also said to have put a spell on it to ensure it didn't fall into the abyss below scientists have a more plausible explanation they believe the stone appeared to defy gravity due to small stones halting its movement and keeping it stable for all those years whatever the reason for its gravity-defying properties and its subsequent fall from grace i'm glad i wasn't there to witness it fall could you imagine the noise not to mention the trembling of the earth below that would have been some earthquake number six rua doamendoyme peanut street don't leave your car unattended on peanut street it may just get stolen by an invisible force yeah that's right peanut street has an invisible thief cars that stop on this anti-gravity street seem to slowly roll up hill gaining speed as they flee the scene so you best put your brakes on or you might fall foul of the law many explanations have been tossed around for these strange happenings from the obvious theft theory to the hill being haunted there's also a suggestion that there might be a huge deposit of iron beneath the street which draws vehicles uphill with its magnetic pull and the car goes uphill this car is going uphill however in reality this is all just an optical illusion as the street appears to have a steep incline but there is in fact an unnoticeable dip in the road peanut street is in brazil and it's a street that creates a lot of attention puzzle drivers and pedestrians often gather to try and figure out the case of this magic and mysterious street number 5 spook hill spook hill is the name given to a gravity hill located in lake wales florida the name alone has me intrigued as to what it's all about what about you spook an optical illusion on this piece of road has cars appearing to roll uphill instead of down essentially defying gravity this attraction sits adjacent to spookhill elementary school which as its name suggests acknowledges the mystery within the area listed on the national register of historic places this hill has become quite famous in fact it's even appeared on the front of wall street journal and cbs morning news now that's famous people travel from throughout the world to come and feel exactly what it's like to exist in this magical area so it really works it's crazy this spurs folklore curiosity and storytelling which makes the area even more popular spook hill is one of the oldest known gravity hills in the country and the only one known in the state of florida giving it its historic reputation storytellers say that this unique area was founded by a native american tribe who were harassed by a giant alligator they sent their strongest warrior chief to fend off the beast and the battle ended with the death of the chief who was buried on the north side of the hill the eerie nature and strange occurrences surrounding the place have led people to believe it is the chief spirit haunting them how spooky number four electric bray after finding the pretty little village of dunor surrounded by ruined castles and heading south for just over a mile you will come across a road that seems to descend for a quarter mile it is known locally as kroy bray and is commonly known across the world as electric bray the term electric dates back to a time when the phenomenon was said to be caused by electric or magnetic attraction within the bray located in iresher scotland kroy bray is an anti-gravity stretch of road that mysteriously appears to draw freewheeling cars uphill while there's a slight slope upwards the configuration of the land is where the illusion occurs when standing on either side of the road the slope seems to go the other way this creates the illusion that a stationary car sitting on the road with its brakes off is moving slowly uphill rolling backwards or pill no feet no engine you'd definitely save petrol living in a place like this just turn your car off and let the road lead the way number three cosmos mystery area the area known as the cosmos is like a scene from a sci-fi movie it is a place where the laws of physics have been disregarded and nature has gone completely berserk the cosmos mystery area located in rapid city south dakota is one of the strangest locations in the entire black hills area it makes people question where they stand and the lack of gravitational force this topsy-turvy funhouse creates a world where excitement mystery and science combine i feel like i'm level and the whole building is like this yup it contains many different areas that truly mess with one's mind through dozens of mystery areas magnetic hills and gravity vortexes this fun house tests and tricks your brain to question if gravity truly exists not knowing what way is up or what way is down this trickery has been perceived as a paranormal force but it's actually just your brain making a simple mistake the cabin is built on a 20 degree tilt not noticeable until you're standing amongst the chaos wondering what is going on number 2 mystery spot ignis michigan in the early 1950s while some surveyors were exploring michigan's upper peninsula their equipment suddenly became faulty giving out incorrect readings after some analysis they discovered that the gear would only fail within a specific 300 foot diameter of land here they discovered a mystery spot in these areas your brain tries to make sense of the strange way that gravity works or rather does not work within this space reported to have a physical effect on those who visit with people feeling lightheaded and queasy an optical illusion makes people look to be represented in a mysterious way objects and people appear to change both size and state tourism is high at the saint mystery spot as many have experienced optical contradictions and physical sensations the cause of this remains unanswered but this fact just adds to the allure with people flocking from right across the globe to check out the phenomena for themselves number 1 hudson bay area canada gravity is gone there are no apples fallen from trees people float through the air cars have no purpose and we spend our days uncontrollably bumping into others this would be a world i'm not quite sure i'd like to live in in the mid-1960s canadian scientists discovered that parts of their country were missing gravity altogether two theories were issued the first being that there was a high concentration of convection currents within the affected areas continental plates therefore decreasing gravity the other theory was that hudson bay canada and other surrounding areas are a part of an indentation in the earth caused by an ice sheet that covered the area over two and a half million years ago it is believed that gravity will not fully recover in this area until the indentation slowly fixes itself this area also plays a large part in history as it was heavily militarized during the cold war in which soviet bombing raids occurred whatever the case the anti-gravity zone does not require residents to nail their possessions to the ground to stop them from floating away this anomaly attracts tourists from throughout the world as it really is a gravity-defying area that has the research of scientists confirming it hudson has fascinated supernatural specialists for years with the distinctive shapes in the ground proposed as extraterrestrial activity the area is so fascinating that it would be worth a visit just be sure to keep both feet on the ground if there's one thing we can almost always count on its gravity this is what keeps our feet firmly planted on the ground but imagine if it were to suddenly disappear without a trace there are places in the world where this has happened and others where it certainly seems to be the case but is it just a trick you might have to visit to find out also check out our other cool stuff showing up on screen right now see you next time

but coming here now to brienne's i believe this is even the brienne's lake where the water is really that blue confirming the blue ass water and we learned that it is from the snow melting from the glaciers and the minerals from that and on the rocks just come here to the lake and give it this incredible turquoise blue speaking of clean water switzerland has the cleanest water on the planet where you can just drink from these random fountains around the country it's really good one of the great things about adventuring around switzerland is that everywhere you go you have these fountains with super fresh water and to make that even better always have to throw in some liquid iv so liquid iv is a must have when going on adventures each packet is bursting with fresh natural flavors and it tastes delicious this new strawberry hydration multiplier is definitely my favorite it has more vitamin c than an orange and as much potassium as a banana helping you stay hydrated and energized in a great tasting way also i highly recommend it as a hangover cure if you want to try liquid iv hydration multiplier you can use my code in the description for 25 off their entire site if you are going at around 10 p.m and just passed out like a ton of bricks but there's nothing like waking up in a new place and just being amazed by all the incredible sights especially from your hotel window and before we do get on with our action-packed day i did want to show you guys what 300 a night gets you here in interlock in switzerland check this out yep that's it so today we are checking off a bucket list item we are heading to the top of europe it is the highest point in the continent where you have to take a 45 minute tram ride all the way to the top but you do get incredible views like this and highly recommend if you are doing this grab a lint mocha where it's a cappuccino with a fountain of lint chocolate that they put in it all right well we are officially the highest people in all of europe haley do you feel do you feel high i am super high right now no honestly do you feel the altitude i feel the altitude i guess i'm a little used to it now we've been up here for like five minutes but when we first got up here it was like a little woozy yeah i can definitely feel that that we are pretty high i think right now we are about 11 000 feet so we are able to just overlook all of the alps and get these incredible views of the top of the mountains of switzerland so next up we are heading to the ice palace i believe we go inside of a glacier just into freezing ice cold rock we definitely did not dress properly for this we are just in a little sweater haley has this super thin cardigan on and we are about to freeze it's probably zero degrees celsius right now [Music] this is literally ice right here it's so cold this is so cool though literally so cool haley i got a hundred swiss franc if you lick it 100 [Music] hopefully your tongue doesn't get stuck to it like in that movie [Music] are you serious [Laughter] imagine starting to feel a little claustrophobic oh my gosh this is insane wow hey haley ellie we're not going to let you do this at least you hit me the first one she threw off camera she hit the woman behind me she doesn't have that good of aim you move so now i wanted to show you guys what a dinner out here in switzerland can cost you so we came here tonight to the top of the met which haven't tried the food yet but these views are just miraculous this whole entire country just looks like one a giant amusement park we have the church bells going right now there's trains going around everything is just picture perfect but now we're gonna see what we get here for dinner haley made us get the cheese fondue so hopefully this is gonna be worth it i think it's like 65 bucks so better be good i'm coming for you haley [Music] so cheese fondue for the first time ever having it that was pretty darn delicious hayley the food you never steer me wrong i don't but with my wallet sometimes yes so the total meal for the two of us was just getting one cheese fondue and a couple glasses of wine came out to around 120 usd but surprisingly wine as i guess in europe is a lot cheaper than in america it's only about five dollars a glass so it's just that cheese fondue that uh really did us dirty like that i'd still say totally worth it though it was something to do it was an experience and it was delicious it was like it really was it really was good call you're welcome after looking up why switzerland is so expensive i learned how the average salary in the country is nearly 125 000 with also having the highest minimum wage of 25 dollars per hour on top of all this anything from switzerland you can guarantee it will be top of the line quality whether it's food or watches or trains the swiss are magicians when it comes to engineering [Music] guten morgen from grindelwald switzerland today we have another very exciting action-packed day where we are taking the tram back up to a different mountain and then going to be trotty biking down it's kind of like these crazy little tricycles that we're literally gonna be taking down the mountain i don't know how but we're gonna figure it out soon now to get down the mountain there are three stages with the first being flying so now for the first part of the way down we're going to be flying this is insane are you nervous yeah oh my gosh i just want to stay until the morning [Music] and guys the swiss do not mess around i thought it was going to be kind of this rinky-dink little bike that you wouldn't be able to go too fast on but boy was i wrong we were flying down the mountain it is so hard to break you're going so fast also you're going through these clouds where you can possibly fall off the side of the mountain luckily both of us are still alive and now celebrating with some swiss beer some traditional swiss mix with spray which i've never heard before i've never heard of this either but haley's not a big beer drinker so they recommended her to get a beer mixed with sprites never heard of it it's not bad not bad i mean you really have a sweet tooth so i feel like this is perfect for you i can't help but spray your beers both in one in one drink whoa this is right over here wow that's actually really good i thought it would taste funky but not a bad combination so we made it safely down the mountain even though the roads were soaking wet and we were going through the clouds it really did just add to our adventure but we're back safely in grindelwald and also how to make a quick stop not a coffee cart but they got a coffee vending machine switzerland really is a ahead of the game got a cappuccino it's like eight bucks some pretty good coffee so you guys saw what 300 dollars and i gets you in interlaken but now we are just a couple miles away in a town called lauterbrunnen which is much smaller and also much cheaper so when i was trying to find one of the cheaper hotels this is what we got we had no idea that we would have this balcony and this incredible view of the waterfall so i guess there are some deals out there in switzerland hard to find how to book this hotel last night but you know they're out there switzerland really is just like one giant amusement park today we skipped the coffees and are getting a shot of life espresso since we're gonna be propelling off of a cliff into a canyon and then going to be canyoning around all of these swiss mountains and yeah we got the uh wetsuits on since it is pretty darn chilly up here a little afraid of how cold this water may be let's do this also i wanted to give a huge shout out to outdoor interlaken for help making this trip so memorable very memorable for this one since she is not looking forward to this cold we're suited up like we're like diving into antarctica so this is what we're gonna be propelling down 150 feet straight down and luckily haley's going first to test it out it needs someone to test the rope you know yeah she's always makes for a great stunt dummy that's gonna be you just like that well we have to do that because i am going to film her with the camera and then leave it in the car and then we'll pick it up at the end of our adventure but yeah also makes for a great excuse to have haley go first you got this let's i do feel really bad making her go first but oh well good luck haley look at that [Music] [Applause] [Music] wow that was incredible get up here we are going to be running off a mountain and paragliding all the way down haley how you feeling about this one i'm watching this guy land haley's just been watching for the past five minutes quietly she ate it she ate it that's gonna be you i'm not gonna land nicely are you nervous at all i don't know i think i'll be fine i know when i get up there i'm gonna be backing out when he's like all right run off the cliff i am not letting you even if i have to throw you off that mountain haley we are just in this random backyard where we're gonna be running down this mountain and hopefully be flying away haley is ready no she's not she tried backing out in the van and then right now she's like a little scared a little like how far out down do you have to run don't trip if i trip you're coming back again all right we're about to get harnessed up and fly away i'm so excited uh so excited let's do this let's go that was amazing what did you think are you glad you did it you liked it yeah did you watch me flipping in the air after traveling switzerland for the week i would still concur that this country is near perfect from the adventures to the landscapes this place looks straight out of a disney movie if you guys did enjoy watching this then make EDUCATIONAL SPEECH
I work in a field where lives hang in the balance each day decisions are made that can spark or end a dream and minutes know seconds can change the trajectory of someone's life I am an educator I love working in the schools I love the promise and potential of the students I love the passion and professionalism of the teachers I even love the sight the sound and the smell of the buses as they roll in every morning and they leave every afternoon for over three dozen years I have dedicated my life's work to education 25 of those years as a principal at every school level during that time I've observed a lot of change in education gone is the one-size-fits-all industrial model where we rolled out the same education for every child schools are using time more creatively the last school that I was at we started school at 9:25 because that was what was best for students and we gave our students an hour in the middle of the day to use to enhance their own learning differentiation meets the needs of students with a wide range of abilities and interests acceleration gives students the opportunity to graduate with a two-year college degree before they graduate from high school problem solving and creative thinking are replacing activities that can be answered by Google students in today's schools are creating their own future there's one thing that hasn't changed in our schools the children children still want to be loved they want to be good at something and they get excited when they succeed at a challenge what has changed is the world we live in can you imagine being without your cell phone or the internet children today are growing up in a world where they don't have to look up anything they can just ask Siri or Alexa we stand at the intersection of a great opportunity never before have there been so many choices in the education our children can have we have home schools charter schools virtual schools joining private and public schools each one offering something different but with choice comes the challenge of ensuring equity of opportunity for all students the quality of a child's education should not depend on the family that child was born into Eleanor Roosevelt said education is the cornerstone of Liberty it's our responsibility to ensure that all children especially the marginalized that often don't have a voice and can't speak for themselves can profit from the American dream that still stems from our education system when we think about education most of us think of our own personal education or maybe the experience of our children what is interesting in the work I do I travel throughout this country and I can tell you unequivocally that school today vary by the community they serve you see our schools are reflective of our communities and no two schools are alike it's fascinating to look at statistics on education the US Department of Education reports ninety percent of students here in the United States attend public schools with all the choices that we have education in public schools is still the mainstay for our students the Gallup Organization's does polls about just about anything every year they poll parents and they ask them how satisfied are you with the school that your child attends overwhelmingly parents report that they are satisfied with the school that their child attends as a matter of fact in 2017 the satisfaction rate was higher than it's been since 2010 if clearly most of our children attend public schools and our parents are satisfied with the education their children are receiving why are there conversations that call to question the current status of public schools it's interesting to look back on education in the 1920s only 22% of young adults completed four years of high school but the world was different then there were options for adults who did not graduate from high school many young men joined the military factory jobs were abundant family farms required support and the role of women was quite different today graduation from high school cannot be an option it's the foundation of our children's future for years I've told my students that graduation is a destination it's the threshold to your future graduation is an opportunity to move into adulthood equipped with the tools to continue your education or enter a career that will promise a successful life in order for our economy to be strong and our democracy secure we must ensure that we educate all our students so they can graduate and are able to positively contribute to our communities our schools are change agents for our country Abraham Lincoln said the the philosophy of the school room in one generation will be the philosophy of government in the next we must acknowledge the significance of the impact of our schools not just for today but for this and future generations to ensure the continued success of our schools we need to take a look at current conversations about education involving the supply of teachers funding for public education and the current policy discussions supporting school vouchers first we must have the best and the brightest people in our classrooms teaching our children as we forge forward with initiatives to fill jobs in careers like science technology engineering and math and all of the other areas we need to remember first to promote the profession that makes all other professions possible we need to encourage young people to enter the field of education without outstanding teachers the future of all other careers dims before I was an educator I had a very cessful career in law enforcement but someone reached out to me and said why don't you think about being a teacher I had not thought about being a teacher I had never thought about being a teacher but that one person reached out and planted that seed we need to be planting that seed not just in young people but in people that might be transitioning from one career to the next throughout this country there are hundreds of teacher vacancies that go unfilled each year due to a lack of applicants we need to change the conversation to invite and encourage people to become educators and create a positive momentum toward careers in education the second conversation we need to examine is support for public schools when those tax bills start rolling out the conversations start and you hear people saying well I don't have children in school I don't know why I should pay to support public schools when those conversations starts I immediately start thinking about our public roads there are roads in our community in our state well in our country that I will never drive on yet I realize the importance of promoting and supporting public roads in our country you see much like the quality of our roads improves the quality and safety of our communities the qualities of our public schools impact our communities in ways we may not recognize [Applause] go ahead yes absolutely in one day I experience the impact of our public school students and graduates when I was helped in the grocery store when I had the air in my car tire checked when I got a flu shot when I saw EMS driving down the road to respond to an emergency and when I was helped at a restaurant later on that evening you see I benefited from knowing that these students had been students in my school but I want you to think about the students and graduates of our public schools that impact your day the doctor the mechanic the cashiers the engineers the police officer the nurses the bankers the real estate agent the post-office workers the accountants the list is as personal as each person in this room the quality of our public schools influences the quality of our days every day we need to support public education funding not just for the children that are in school today but for the quality of life they provide to everyone in our communities we need to change the conversation to support public education funding and celebrate education for the positive impact it has on our communities the third conversation that we need to explore is a hot topic in education policy now school vouchers as I think about the essence of education and our country's foundational belief in a strong public school system I'm concerned about policies involving school vouchers school vouchers indirectly take away from the support of public schools by allowing potential tax dollars to be shifted to private schools with absolutely no accountability the way most vouchers work is a corporation makes a contribution to a private entity in return that corporation receives a tax credit and then students the most impoverished students in underperforming schools are given an opportunity to apply for those vouchers it sounds like a good thing however if we believe all children need to receive a quality education think about this what happens to those students who remain in the school that is impoverished and the community now has a smaller tax base to support that school vouchers do nothing to support or improve underperforming schools most of our underperforming schools are a result of the struggle to find certified teachers and the weak support of public schools how can we offer the opportunity for to apply for vouchers to students in underperforming school and expect the quality of those schools to increase for the students who remain we need to change the policy conversations surrounding public school vouchers education is a public trust when I'm in schools working with students I'm convinced our future is secure the students in our schools today will be the ones who address the problems that exists as a result of our generation and the generations before us they will create opportunities and impact the world in ways we can only imagine the most precious resource in our country is our children if we want to protect and promote democracy enhance and secure our economy we must invest in and ensure our public schools have the resources they need to make every public school a school of choice a school that you want your children to go to I've dedicated my life's work to education because I believe in the greatness of each child we must change the conversations about public education to ensure our schools have the teachers the funding and the policies in place to meet the needs of our communities our state's and our nation Nelson Mandela said education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world what are we doing to ensure our children's education prepares them to be the change we are counting on let's take a risk let's step out of our comfort zone and start changing some of these conversations thank you [Applause] I [Music] work in a field where lives hang in the balance each day decisions are made that can spark or end a dream and minutes know seconds can change the trajectory of someone's life I am an educator I love working in the schools I love the promise and potential of the students I love the passion and professionalism of the teachers I even love the sight the sound and the smell of the buses as they this country there are hundreds of teacher vacancies that go unfilled each year due to a lack of applicants we need to change the conversation to invite and encourage people to become educators and create a positive momentum toward careers in education the second conversation we need to examine is support for public schools when those tax bills start rolling out the conversations start and you hear people saying well I don't have children in school I don't know why I should pay to support public schools when those conversations starts I immediately start thinking about our public roads there are roads in our community in our state well in our country that I will never drive on yet I realize the importance of promoting and supporting public roads in our country you see much like the quality of our roads improves the quality and safety of our communities the qualities of our public schools impact our communities in ways we may not recognize [Applause] go ahead yes absolutely in one day I experience the impact of our public school students and graduates when I was helped in the grocery store when I had the air in my car tire checked when I got a flu shot when I saw EMS driving down the road to respond to an emergency and when I was helped at a restaurant later on that evening you see I benefited from knowing that these students had been students in my school but I want you to think about the students and graduates of our public schools that impact your day the doctor the mechanic the cashiers the engineers the police officer the nurses the bankers the real estate agent the post-office workers the accountants the list is as personal as each person in this room the quality of our public schools influences the quality of our days every day we need to support public education funding not just for the children that are in school today but for the quality of life they provide to everyone in our communities we need to change the conversation to support public education funding and celebrate education for the positive impact it has on our communities the third conversation that we need to explore is a hot topic in education policy now school vouchers as I think about the essence of education and our country's foundational belief in a strong public school system I'm concerned about policies involving school vouchers school vouchers indirectly take away from the support of public schools by allowing potential tax dollars to be shifted to private schools with absolutely no accountability the way most vouchers work is a corporation makes a contribution to a private entity in return that corporation receives a tax credit and then students the most impoverished students in underperforming schools are given an opportunity to apply for those vouchers it sounds like a good thing however if we believe all children need to receive a quality education think about this what happens to those students who remain in the school that is impoverished and the community now has a smaller tax base to support that school vouchers do nothing to support or improve underperforming schools most of our underperforming schools are a result of the struggle to find certified teachers and the weak support of public schools how can we offer the opportunity for to apply for vouchers to students in underperforming school and expect the quality of those schools to increase for the students who remain we need to change the policy conversations surrounding public school vouchers education is a public trust when I'm in schools working with students I'm convinced our future is secure the students in our schools today will be the ones who address the problems that exists as a result of our generation and the generations before us they will create opportunities and impact the world in ways we can only imagine the most precious resource in our country is our children if we want to protect and promote democracy enhance and secure our economy we must invest in and ensure our public schools have the resources they need to make every public school a school of choice a school that you want your children to go to I've dedicated my life's work to education because I believe in the greatness of each child we must change the conversations about public education to ensure our schools have the teachers the funding and the policies in place to meet the needs of our communities our state's and our nation Nelson Mandela said education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world what are we doing to ensure our children's education prepares them to be the change we are counting on let's take a risk let's step out of our comfort zone and start changing some of these conversations thank you.

BERMUDA TRIANGLE MYSTERY
BERMUDA TRIANGLE MYSTERY Over the past hundred years in the region of the infamous Bermuda Triangle about a hundred ships and aircraft have disappeared while scientists are trying to find the cause of these mysterious disappearances and massive disasters in this area similar anomalies have appeared around the world so what could be more dangerous than the Bermuda Triangle dozens of such messages are stored in the black boxes of planes that crashed over the Bermuda Triangle under mysterious circumstances it covers the territory from the Bermuda Islands in Florida to Puerto Rico the area of this territory is quite large and is approximately 805 000 square kilometers it's like two Japan's in addition it's also a place for the deepest point of the Atlantic Ocean the Milwaukee deep which would fit almost one and a half Mount kilimanjaros therefore it isn't strange that the parts of many ships and aircraft missing in this region haven't been found yet but even when the researchers managed to find the lost ships what they saw there didn't make any sense for example in 1944 the U.S Navy discovered an American ship near Florida in the Bermuda Triangle called Rubicon all contact with it had been lost a month before it was found when it left Cuba for Havana so everyone believed the ship had sunk relatives of the passengers weren't going crazy trying to figure out where their loved ones had gone the military immediately saw that the ship was safe and sound and rushed to save the people on board but even though over 300 people were supposed to be on board the ship a dog that came from nowhere ran around the deck and there wasn't a human soul to be found all their belongings and Food Supplies surprisingly remained intact as if the passengers had simply evaporated from the ship in an instant and this isn't the only case like this earlier a similar situation happened to the Friendship Rosalia which was heading to Havana from Hamburg in 1840 it was found in the sargasso sea near the Bermuda Triangle time on this ship seemed to have been frozen as well lunch was waiting for the sailors in the kitchen but there wasn't a single person on board only a starving Canary chirped in its cage precisely the same story happened on the American ship called the Mary Celeste in 1872 was on its way from New York to Italy through the Bermuda Triangle and was found only a year later near the Azores on board they even found untouched Treasures in the captain's cabin as well as a surviving cat but the crew itself seems to have evaporated as well but the worst thing that makes this zone so deadly is the fact that it extends not only across the sea but also into the sky in 1945 Flight 19 a squadron of five U.S Navy Torpedo bombers simply vanished into thinner shared during a routine exercise the theory of the simultaneous failure of all five aircraft seems impossible besides they were thoroughly tested before departure they're even more logical gaps in a story of what happened to a Beechcraft Bonanza plane on December 4th 1970 the pilot and two passengers took off from Andros Island in the Bahamas and headed for the coast of Florida they had to cover a distance of 400 kilometers which usually takes 90 minutes of flight time at an altitude of 3500 meters the pilot saw a strange Cloud of a cylindrical shape the diameter of this pipe was more than one kilometer and the length seemed endless since it was gigantic the pilot had no choice but to pass through the cloud when the plane flew into it it became dark as night suddenly bright white flashes began to appear on the aircraft which illuminated everything around however according to the pilot it wasn't lightning he had already begun to say goodbye to life but after about a minute he saw the light at the end of the tunnel the cloud tunnel began to narrow at the same time all their electronic devices stopped working and the compass needle rotated and spun randomly at some point the pilot felt weightless and the plane broke out of the clouds at the same time it turned out they were already almost in Miami although only 47 minutes of flight time had passed the plane had also used much less fuel than usual no one who was on board that day has a clue how they managed to get there ahead of time but the most inexplicable story to this day is the loss of Pan-American World Airways flight 914 with 57 passengers on board on July 2nd 1955 the plane took off from New York and was supposed to land in Miami three hours later but it just disappeared from all Radars its wreckage was never found for quite a long time it was believed that the plane had crashed and all the passengers had died 37 years later the weekly world news published an unusual article about this flight it said that on September 9th that the krakas airport in Venezuela out of nowhere a new DOT appeared on the radar as if a plane had just popped into being from non-existence after landing the pilot contacted the tower and asked where he was because he needed to get to the Miami Airport at a specific time namely at 9 55 a.m on July 2nd in 1955. the man was told it was 1992. then the panic-stricken captain began to shout for the airport Personnel not to approach his plane he started the engines again and without waiting for permission to take off lifted the plane into the air disappearing from radar again although these incidents in the Bermuda Triangle are quite mysterious the weekly world news probably should be trusted The tabloid's Writers come up with paranormal explanations for all different kinds of incidents in America and around the world so that more and more people buy their newspapers which are excitingly different from other newspapers nonetheless scientists continue to explore this dangerous Zone and are still trying to find a scientific explanation for the catastrophes that happen here foreign [Music] these were the last words of the pilot of flight n3808h on June 28th in 1980 from the moment the message was recorded and to this day the plane along with its crew is considered missing in the Bermuda Triangle but no one knows exactly what objects in the sky scared the pilots although many scientists believe they solved the mystery of this mysterious area in the sea each has their own Theory some researchers suggest that the cause of shipwrecks in this area is a large number of Shades and reefs but this theory was worth considering only many years ago when Wooden Ships crossed the ocean for modern equipment on ships this isn't really a serious problem anymore other researchers are interested in masses of bubbles in the Bermuda Triangle Waters which appear from cracks in tectonic plates according to these research researchers this is an explosive methane gas that turns into giant bubbles when they reach the surface they can destroy or even swallow an entire ship but this Theory doesn't consider that some ships that disappeared in the Bermuda Triangle were nevertheless found moreover absolutely intact and yet there is one theory that can't explain this geologists say that during a storm waves can generate infrasound which has a harmful effect on the nervous system as a result a ship's crew panics fear overpowers common sense in people simply Rush overboard that's why so many ships were found in the Bermuda Triangle without passengers and with all their belongings intact but these three theories have nothing to do with airplanes a fairly reasonable theory was proposed by a meteorologist one Steve Miller in NASA satellite images he noticed unusual hexagonal clouds with straight edges over the Bermuda Triangle Miller suggests they're capable of generating something called aerial bombs these are sharp currents of wind that can reach the speed of a hurricane of 300 kilometers per hour this force is enough to sink even a fairly large ship or provoke an aircraft's demise in a matter of minutes but to confirm this Theory additional observations are needed after all the pictures don't show that there are any funnels in the clouds through which the air is directed downward the Bermuda Triangle has become famous thanks to a large number investigations in the media documentaries and feature films due to this Ordinary People are also attempting to solve this mystery for example under an article about the triangle in the comments a certain Jaden hunsaker put forward her own hypothesis she explains why not only ships but also planes disappear in the Triangle the thing is that Christopher Columbus during his sea Voyage in 1492 saw a flash in the sky in his logbook there were records that the sky suddenly became bright after which the compass needles began to behave strangely the girl suggests that this flash could be a magnetic asteroid and since planes and ships are made of metal they couldn't attracted to the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean to the magnetic Celestial body that fell into it science has indeed encountered asteroids that have their own magnetic fields but there is one thing if such an object fell into the ocean in the 15th century records of this would have been preserved not only in Columbus's journal and Columbus himself who was close to the crash site once he felt the magnetic effect of the asteroid on himself would have perished in a giant tsunami but while some are trying to approach the Bermuda Triangle scientifically conspiracy theorists have also found what they think is the most logical answer they believe that this zone is a hot spot for alien activity where extraterrestrial beings are abducting people to study them therefore on all the ships found in the Bermuda Triangle only animals have survived and the valuable cargo was untouched there is a lot of evidence to support this hypothesis one of them is documented in the Greek Daily Newspaper artist mafdo's press of August 17 1995 it had an interview with a merchant Seaman and radio operator on the pothiti swjc called polycarp's bensas the Sailor claimed that during one of their trips to the Sea he felt something was wrong when the ship began to go through the waves incredibly fast although the equipment showed the usual speed and the sensations didn't let the Sailor down a few minutes later a complete devilry began on board at first the captain of the ship became very sick it seemed to him that his hands were very heavy and he couldn't raise them to the helm and the Helmsman couldn't keep a steady course because the compass was spinning like crazy the crew then noticed that all the clocks on the boat had gone ahead by two hours suddenly spences saw a large white unidentified flying object in the sky joined by two more small ones the Sailor immediately ran to send a message about what had happened using Morse code but notice that he suddenly began to move very slowly at the same time another sailor tried to light a cigarette but nothing came out of it because it immediately burned out at the same time the entire ship's crew felt in abnormally slow heartbeat spences is fully convinced he encountered something extraterrestrial that day in the Bermuda Triangle that could manipulate time sometimes even official institutions admit that they've noticed something strange in the Bermuda Triangle for example this photo was taken by the U.S Air Force in 2020 however attempts to unravel the mysteries of Bermuda Triangle don't end with UFO explanations for example writer Charles berlets has his own theory he claims that earlier on the territory of the triangle there could have been the capital of an ancient developed civilization of course most scientists consider such theories about the existence of Lost Cities only fiction and myth but there are those who like burlettes don't doubt the existence of Atlantis the writer believes that the inventions of the ancient atlanteans could be because of all the disasters in the area He suggests that the atlanteans had developed a formula that allows one to accumulate space energy in a crystal with its help it was possible to create solar and Stellar Rays similar to lasers they were mainly used in construction but in our time they could well destroy modern technology when a big flood covered Atlantis the crystals also went to the bottom but that didn't stop them doing their job that's why sailing or flying through this area equipment and Compasses fail unlike scientists hypotheses theories about UFOs and Atlantis explain all The Oddities of the triangle but at the same time the existence of UFOs in the mythical city of Atlantis hasn't yet been proven by science so neither one nor the other has convincing evidence and so we still don't know how to protect people from incidents in this area meanwhile similar anomalies here in other parts of the world could really briefly what is your um what is the problem you're having I have a marine emergency and I would like to speak to a Qi more than one team of sailors tried to save their ship having gotten into Dangerous Waters between Bermuda Florida and Puerto Rico but this is not the only Danger Zone in the world's oceans one of these anomalies attracts scientists tourists and extreme divers we're talking about Australia the west coast of which can be called the capital of shipwrecks so many people died in these Waters that their legends about ghosts among the locals and tourists to this date literally swim among the corpses in 2022 Monique sichat or spent her holidays on magnetic Island swimming in the ocean off Northern Australia when the girl returned home and began to look through her photos she noticed a terrible detail in one of them in the background a ghostly hand reaches out to her leg this turned out to be the severed limb of a human skill back in 1770 Captain James Cook sailing in these Waters noticed that the ship's Compass was out of order as if there was a magnet nearby this is how magnetic Island got its name due to such inexplicable anomalies and the water-round Magnetic Island in general the entire coast of the continent about 13 000 kilometers long is full of the wreckage of about 1 600 sunken ships and in these Waters the remains of the bodies of dead Sailors are still being found since the end of the 16th century this place has become a cemetery for Dutch British and Portuguese ships that were on their way from Europe to Indonesia they went too far east into the Waters of Western Australia and vanished but nevertheless mysterious events are associated with the Devil's Triangle [Music] sky were the last words of a Japanese fighter pilot in August 1945 during a crash over this Zone The Devil's Triangle spans Pacific Waters near Tokyo judging by ancient legends people used to believe that the ocean was home to dragons which attacked Sailors it said that back in 1274 and 1281 Kublai Khan the fifth great Khan of the Mongol Empire and Grandson of Genghis Khan tried to invade Japan however both times he mysteriously lost his ships and about 40 000 crew members the Japanese believed that it was the gods who stopped the conquerors later at the beginning of the 20th century fishing ships and warships often sank in this area also in the Dragon Triangle a research ship with a hundred scientists who tried to unravel the anomaly disappeared Without a Trace but the most exciting thing is that the devils and Bermuda Triangles are very similar they're located at the same latitude on the east coast of large Continental masses in the Devil's Triangle as well as in the Bermuda Triangle there are also some of the deepest places in the sea in the devil's triangles case the Mariana Trench these two anomalies are like twins and the Japanese pilot who shouted about the Open Sky likely got into the same kind of cloud tunnels the Beechcraft Bonanza plane but there's a place in America that's scarier than the Bermuda Triangle and the Devil's Triangle combined for hundreds of years many strange things have been happening in the Lake Michigan region most of which cannot be explained logically but the most interesting thing having collected the locations of all the incidents on one map the researchers found that the dangerous area in these Waters also forms a triangle shape they call it the Michigan Triangle it's located in the center of the largest American Lake Michigan and in it there have been many mystical and mysterious catastrophes for example in 1950 Northwest Airlines flight 2501 carrying 55 passengers and three crew members was flying from New York to Minneapolis flying over the Michigan Triangle it seemed to disappear into thin air but here not only planes and boats mysteriously disappear but people who were just walking along the coast as well in 1978 Michigan private Christian University student Stephen backing was skiing along the shores of a lake but one day he disappeared Without a Trace when the police went looking for him they noticed the trail of his Footprints it led along the shore of Lake Michigan and suddenly broke off due to the lack of any other evidence the police thought that the guy got lost and froze to death although his body was never found his loved ones were still mourning their loss A year later when suddenly Stephen was found alive and well more than a thousand kilometers from the scene when asked what happened that day and why he ended up in this place the guy remembered absolutely nothing and this is not the only mystery of the Michigan Triangle at its bottom mysterious ancient structures have been found however at present researchers are keeping the locations a secret according to the official version this was done in order to protect the ancient underwater ruins from vandals currently scientists don't know what created these Stone Compass nature Humanity or someone or something else local residents say they often see bright flashing lights above the water and believe the stone structures and disasters in this area are somehow connected to UFOs in 1883 the sailors of the wooden Tugboat Mary McLean said they saw huge blocks of ice falling from the sky all over the lake for 30 minutes this strange rain didn't stop and was so powerful that it left dents on the wooden surface of the tug the crew members even kept a large piece of the ice and the pantry to show it is proof if no one believed them but despite all the efforts of the eyewitnesses to this anomaly their story was still perceived to be a lie as there are few logical explanations for the occurrences in these anomalous areas governments simply ignore the existence of these dangerous triangle zones they aren't even marked on world maps and thus from year to year passengers of planes Crews of ships and even ordinary tourists are exposed to unknown dangers evidence of incidents in the Bermuda Triangle have been preserved not only in Airplane black boxes nowadays such catastrophes can actually be observed in real time in 2015 two 14 year old boys from Florida keeping it a secret from their parents went to the Bahamas and shared everything on Snapchat suddenly one of them posted a video of an incoming storm with a tragic caption in 2016 the Coast Guard unexpectedly found the boat of Perry Cohen and Austin Stephanos near the coast of Bermuda most likely the storm brought the children into the Bermuda Triangle the boat was empty and the bodies of the boys were never found [Music] thank you

RARE HISTORICAL CREATURES
RARE HISTORICAL CREATURES Welcome to a journey through the pages of unexplained history a portal to Mysteries that even the sharpest scientific Minds can't fully unravel this video explores 20 of the most baffling photographs and discoveries from around the globe [Music] each of these snapshots offers a fascinating glimpse into inexplicable events and objects from our past number one the mysterious Stone spheres of Costa Rica hidden deep within the rainforests of Costa Rica the stone spheres of dequists have intrigued archaeologists and researchers for centuries these perfectly spherical Stones ranging in size from a few centimeters to over 2 meters in diameter have captivated imaginations and sparked countless theories about their origin and purpose the precise method of creation of these Stone spheres remains a puzzle they were crafted with such Precision that they have puzzled experts who struggle to comprehend how ancient civilizations achieved such symmetrical Perfection the stones are composed of granodiorite a very hard rock making their creation even more impressive the purpose behind these enigmatic spheres is equally mysterious some theories suggest that they were used for astronomical or religious purposes While others proposed that they served as markers for navigational or territorial boundaries some even speculate that they may be remnants of a lost ancient civilization or have extraterrestrial Origins the Spheres hold cultural and historical significance for the indigenous people of Costa Rica and they have been designated as a UNESCO world heritage site efforts to understand their Origins and meaning continue to this day but many questions remain unanswered the stone spheres of Costa Rica stand as a testament to the Ingenuity and creativity of ancient civilizations they also serve as a reminder that there are still countless wonders waiting to be discovered and deciphered holding secrets that may shed light on the rich and diverse history of our planet number two the anomalous 1911 Airship photo in 1911 a photograph emerged that ignited a storm of controversy and speculation it depicts an elaborate Airship seemingly hovering over the City of Huntington West Virginia however what makes this Photograph genuinely baffling is that the design of the Airship appears technologically advanced for the era and its existence remains undocumented outside of this image the airship in the picture has a streamlined shape and several propellers and it seems to have the ability to carry a significant number of passengers a stark contrast to the rudimentary small capacity dirigibles and balloons commonly used in the early 20th century furthermore it predates the construction of the first zeppelin-style airship in the United States by several years many theories have emerged in an attempt to explain this photo some speculate that it was a high-tech invention by a brilliant unknown inventor who was simply ahead of his time others suggest a hoax either in the form of a practical joke or a piece of early photoshopped trickery however no evidence of tampering has been identified in the photo and the identity of the photographer and their motivations remain unknown despite the speculation the 1911 Airship photo remains a historical Oddity that defies easy explanation it serves as a tantalizing glimpse of a mystery that is yet to be solved and a fascinating detour in the history of human flight number three The Mystery of the time traveling hipster in 2010 an intriguing photograph from 1941 resurfaced depicting the reopening of the South Forks bridge in goldbridge British Columbia the crowd gathered for the event is for the most part exactly what one might expect for the time period however one figure in particular stands out he's been dubbed the time traveling hipster the man in question appears to be wearing modern clothing including a logo printed t-shirt a hoodie or sweater and sunglasses all strikingly out of place in the 1941 setting additionally he seems to be holding a modern style camera which adds another layer of mystery Skeptics have suggested reasonable explanations the sunglasses for example were not completely out of the question for the era the logo on the man's shirt could be from a Montreal maroon's hockey team sweater an actual item available in the 1940s as for the camera it may be a Kodak folding pocket model which while unusual were in existence at the time however despite these rationalizations no explanation has entirely dispelled the Eerie out of time impression that the figure gives off the debate about the identity and temporal origin of this man has sparked fervent debates in both academic and online communities even spawning theories of time travel the time traveling hipster remains an enigma a quirky aberration in a historical photo whether a time traveler an unusual dresser or a simple optical illusion the mystery of this man continues to Captivate and confound us number four the unidentified flying object in the Madonna with Saint giovannino painting a recurring theme in The Unexplained is the presence of anachronistic objects in historical artwork a prime example is found in the 15th century painting the Madonna with Saint giovannino attributed to the Italian artist Domenico guillandayo the Enigma lies not with the primary subjects but with a peculiar element in the background in the painting we see the Virgin Mary with an infant Saint John the Baptist over her left shoulder however one can see a strange glowing object in the sky viewed by a man and his dog the man seems to be shielding his eyes possibly indicating the brightness of the object the shape and glow of the object have led some observers to speculate that it represents an unidentified flying object UFO and they cite this as possible historical evidence of extraterrestrial life additionally the object appears to have rays of light emanating from it adding to its otherworldly Ambiance Skeptics argue that the object is a depiction of the Divine possibly representing an angel or the Holy Spirit common motifs in religious artwork of the era others suggest it could represent the Star of Bethlehem or a miraculous sign in the heavens despite these interpretations the exact meaning and representation of the strange object in the painting remain unknown the Madonna with Saint giovannino is a compelling example of the Mysteries and debates surrounding the interpretation of historical artworks especially when they appear to depict objects far ahead of their time number five the Peery race map the Peary race map named after its creator the ottoman Admiral and cartographer piri race has puzzled historians and scientists alike since its Discovery drawn in 1513 the map is a world map with a focus on the coasts of Europe and North Africa at the center the Atlantic Ocean and parts of the Americas in Antarctica the mystery lies in its surprisingly accurate depiction of parts of the Americas particularly South America's coastline remember that in 1513 European knowledge of the new world was still in its infancy yet the map depicts geographical features with a level of detail that shouldn't have been possible for the time even more baffling is its depiction of the Antarctic Coast free of ice the last time Antarctica is believed to have been ice-free is around 34 million years ago long before human civilization how could Perry race have had access to such information the map is believed to have been compiled from a variety of sources some of which according to Peery racist notes were ancient and no longer exist could these have included maps from a bygone civilization with Advanced cartographic knowledge Skeptics suggest that the depiction of Antarctica is based on conjecture mistaken interpretations or misdrawn parts of South America some also argue that the map shows what Sailors of the time thought the world looked like rather than being an accurate record regardless of the explanations the Peery race map continues to mystify researchers its curious anomalies and surprising accuracy serve as a testament to the complexities of history and the depth of our ancestors knowledge number six the 1964 Solway Firth Spaceman photograph one of the most confounding photographs in recent history emerged from a Serene family outing in 1964 Jim Templeton a firefighter from Carlisle England took a photo of his daughter in a field near soulway Firth when the photo was developed it revealed an unexpected figure in the background a seeming Spaceman the figure appears to be a tall white clad entity with a helmet or visor standing with its back to the camera Templeton claimed there was nobody else around when he took the photo the film was even examined by Kodak and police photographers who found no evidence of tampering Skeptics have proposed that the spaceman was actually templeton's wife accidentally captured in the frame her blue dress Overexposed and appearing white in the photo the helmet could be her hair and the supposed advisor might be the shadow of her hair across her face despite the reasonable explanations the photo continues to Captivate imaginations it has been the subject of numerous TV shows and documentaries fostering speculation about aliens Time Travelers and interdimensional beings The Mystery of the soulway Firth space man remains an iconic piece of unexplained history number seven the anachronistic 1930s Beach photograph sometimes the most intriguing Mysteries are found in ordinary settings such as the case with an undated photograph from the 1930s showing beachgoers on the British Columbia Coast in Canada amid the typical Beach attire of the era one man stands out giving rise to the mystery of the surfing time traveler the man in question appears to be dressed in modern clothing a graphic t-shirt shorts and hair styled in a way that's more befitting of the late 20th or early 21st century than the 1930s this has led to theories suggesting that the man is a time traveler however Skeptics have proposed more prosaic explanations it's been suggested that the man's modern t-shirt is actually a sweater rolled up at the sleeves and his shorts are merely rolled up slacks both potentially plausible for a hot beach day his modern hairstyle may also be a product of the wind or wet hair rather than a reflection of fashion anachronism yet the photograph continues to provoke debate and speculation despite potential logical explanations the surfing time traveler retains an aura of mystery whether he's a real-time traveler a fashion forward individual or simply a trick of the camera His Image continues to challenge our understanding of History number eight the Voynich manuscript's enigmatic images the Voynich manuscript named after Wilfred Voynich the Polish book dealer who acquired it in 1912 is an enigma wrapped in a riddle this 15th century codex filled with cryptic illustrations and a text in an unidentified language has left the world's brightest Minds stumped the manuscript is Illustrated with fascinating images of Botanical specimens astronomical diagrams bathing women and pharmaceutical drawings these however do not correspond to any known species or identifiable astronomical configurations adding to the book's mystery many of the plant species are unidentifiable bearing no resemblance to any known plants on Earth the astronomical charts are equally as baffling with star constellations and planetary systems that don't match any recognized by modern astronomers several theories have been proposed over the years from the manuscript being a pharmacopaya an alchemical text to a work of speculative fiction despite numerous attempts at deciphering the manuscript its text and the meaning behind its peculiar illustrations remain a mystery the Voynich manuscript stands as one of the most perplexing artifacts in the annals of History the captivating images and cryptic text invite us into a world full of intrigue mystery and the challenge of the unknown number nine the Nazca Lines from above the Nazca Lines large geoglyphs created by the ancient Nazca culture in Peru are a source of endless Fascination and speculation the Intrigue deepens when viewed from an aerial perspective revealing an array of designs including animals plants and geometric shapes etched into the desert floor the question that baffles scientists is how and why a civilization that existed nearly two thousand years ago created such enormous works of art that can only be fully appreciated from an aerial perspective a Viewpoint seemingly impossible for the Nazca people to achieve some theories propose religious or astronomical purposes suggesting the Nazca Lines served as a giant Observatory or a map of underground water sources others suggest the lines were part of complex rituals to summon water however these theories don't entirely explain the scale and precision of the lines or the reason for the specific symbols chosen furthermore they don't clarify how the Nazca managed to maintain the perspective needed to create such accurate depictions on such a grand scale from extraterrestrial Landing strips to Giant astronomical calendars the Nazca Lines interpretations are as varied as the figures themselves the reality remains that these incredible geoglyphs viewed best from a vantage point the nazkas shouldn't have been able to attain persist as an unsolved mystery of human history number 10. the hook island sea monster photograph the world of unexplained history isn't confined to land the sea has its share of mysteries too one such Enigma is the hook island sea monster captured in a photograph taken in 1964 by Robert lacerek a Frenchman vacationing in Australia with his family the creature as shown in the photograph is a massive tadpole-like entity estimated to be 70. 80 feet in length lurking in the shallow Waters of Stonehaven Bay hook Island the image shows an enormous dark form under the water with a discernible head and eye along with a sinuous body stretching Into the Depths many have speculated that it could be a surviving prehistoric Marine reptile like a plesiosaur or a gigantic unknown species of eel or Rey however others have suggested that it may have been an elaborate hoax perhaps a plastic sheet weighted down and arranged to look like a sea monster despite the enduring skepticism the photograph has captured the Public's imagination for decades the hook island sea monster remains an enduring Marine mystery and a fascinating anecdote in the annals of cryptozoology number 11 the alleged 1870s Billy the Kid photo graphs offer a snapshot of the past but sometimes their authenticity can throw historians into a whirl of debates a fascinating example is a photograph purchased in 2010 for two dollars at a memorabilia shop which allegedly features the infamous Outlaw Billy the Kid the tin type photograph appears to show Billy the Kid and his gang The Regulators playing a casual game of croquet if genuine it would be only the second confirmed image of the kid and the value of the photo could soar into millions however confirming its authenticity has been challenging while facial recognition software suggests a match between the kid in the known photograph and the figure in the croquet photo other aspects raise doubts some historians question the plausibility of the scene citing the seemingly high-class nature of a croquet game contrasted with the rugged Outlaw lifestyle despite the controversy the photograph has spurred considerable interest it has been the subject of a Nash Geographic documentary and has piqued the interest of historians forensic analysts and Old West enthusiasts whether it's a Priceless historical artifact or a photograph of anonymous 19 the century individuals the alleged Billy the Kid photo demonstrates how even a simple image can stir up a historical storm of questions and speculation number 12. the Erie 1920s levitation photograph in a world before digital manipulation a photograph taken in the 1920s sent shock waves through Society with its depiction of what seems to be a levitating man the photo showcases Colin Evans a spiritualist medium who held seances in the myths attribute these circles to divine intervention or the footsteps of gods scientific explanations range from termites and plant competition to gas seepage and even radioactivity despite these theories no definitive cause has been agreed upon the fairy circles of Namibia continue to fuel scientific debates and Layman's curiosity illustrating the enchanting Mysteries that nature often conceals in plain sight number 15. the 1959 diet love pass incident photographs the diet Loft pass incident is one of the most baffling events in modern history in 1959 nine experienced Russian hikers drilling a water well in Nampa Idaho discovered a tiny clay figurine at a depth of about 300 feet dubbed the Nampa figurine this artifact depicts a female figure and appears to be human-made what baffles scientists is the depth at which it was found which corresponds to geological layers around 2 million years old well before humans were thought to inhabit the region while some see the figurine as proof of advanced ancient civilizations or out-of-place artifacts ooh Parts mainstream science often dismisses it as an instance of a drilling-induced anomaly or a more recent artifact embedded in older materials through natural processes the Napa figurine remains an intriguing Enigma in archaeological circles number 19. the anti-kythera mechanism's complex diagrams found in a shipwreck off the Greek island of anti-kythera in 1901 the anti-kythera mechanism has been called the world's first analog computer this ancient Greek device dating back to around the first or second century BC features a series of complex gears and inscriptions the Enigma lies in the advanced understanding of astronomy the mechanism exhibits the device could predict celestial events such as eclipses and track the movements of celestial bodies it showcases a level of technological sophistication believed to be beyond the capabilities of ancient Greek society despite considerable study the mechanism's full range of functions and its underlying knowledge base remain partly understood the anti-kythera mechanism continues to highlight the gaps in our understanding of ancient civilizations and their technological prowess number 20. the last photo taken aboard the Eileen Moore lighthouse steeped in mystery and speculation the flannon Isles Lighthouse incident of 1900 is a perplexing THE REAL TRUTH BEYOND SCIENCE
THE REAL TRUTH BEYOND SCIENCE In the beginning God created the Heaven and Earth some believe in the Big Bang but it is quite impossible for life to have Arisen as a result of a collision there is a superior intelligence behind the creation and it is God there have been many wonders in the universe and one of such is the position of the earth and what sustains it what exactly holds the Earth in Balance what are the things responsible for its accuracy and precision from a scientific perspective the Earth is not standing on anything it is a Celestial body that is floating in space and moving in its orbit around the Sun the force of gravity keeps the Earth in its orbit around the sun and it also holds the Earth together and prevents it from flying apart in a more metaphorical sense some people might say that the Earth is standing on the shoulders of giants meaning that it is built upon the knowledge and achievements of those who came before us others might say that the Earth is standing on a foundation of love compassion and mutual understanding which are essential for maintaining a healthy and thriving Global community is what is the real truth is the earth merely hanging in space what force is responsible for this let's delve into the truth the mystery of how the Earth was made was revealed long ago in the Holy Bible but many have trivialized its authenticity and Authority according to the Bible the force that makes the Earth float in space has been revealed and is captured in the Book of Psalms 24. the Earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof the world and they that dwell therein for he hath founded it upon the Seas and established it upon the floods according to this scripture God founded the Earth upon the Seas and established it upon the floods what does this mean could it be that there is a connection between the Earth and the water bodies if that is so where are the pillars or means of identification if indeed God founded the Earth upon the Seas and established it upon the floods what state of matter is it this leads us to another mystery we all know that water exists in three states solid liquid and gas according to the water cycle water turns into vapor and then condenses to form rain these are invisible water forces or let me say gaseous water forces yet we all believe in them don't you think the energy that sustains the Earth could be these invisible water forces if the Bible said God founded the Earth upon the Seas and established the Earth upon the floods It could only mean that the Seas provide invisible energy that sustains the Earth which is responsible for how it floats in space according to science it is confirmed that the Seas have a huge amount of energy that's why air Roots avoid flying so long above the oceans due to potential problems and crashes God is an intelligent being and how he linked the invisible energy of the Seas and floods to establish the earth needs further research however this is what the Bible says and it is the truth please let us know what you think in the comments section also don't forget to subscribe to this channel for more edifying content see you next time God bless you.

BLOW YOUR MIND
BLOW YOUR MIND This is Earth this is where you live and this is where you live in your neighbourhood the solar system [Applause] here's the distance between the Earth and the moon doesn't look too far does it think again at their farthest point the earth and the moon are two hundred and fifty two thousand eighty eight miles away inside that distance you could fit every planet in our entire solar system but let's talk about planets the Great Red Spot on Jupiter that's about two times as big as Earth and Saturn is about nine times wider than Earth Saturn's rings are so large that a few of the fragments within them are as large as mountains but that's nothing compared to our Sun just remember this is Earth and this is Earth from the moon this is Earth from Mars here's Earth from just behind Saturn's rings and here's Earth from just beyond Neptune four billion miles away but a billion is a big number so let's put that in perspective one million seconds equals about eleven and a half days whereas 1 billion seconds equals over 31 years let's step back a bit here's the size of Earth compared with the size of our Sun terrifying right and here's that exact same Sun from the surface of Mars as Carl Sagan once mused the total number of stars in the universe is larger than all the grains of sand on all the beaches of the planet Earth and there are some stars out there that are much bigger than our little wimpy Sun the biggest star we know of V Y Canis Majoris is about 2,000 times the diameter of our Sun but none of those compares to the size of a galaxy in fact if you shrink the size of our solar system down to the size of a quarter and trans the Milky Way galaxy down using the same scale the diameter of the Milky Way will be roughly the size of the United States that's because the Milky Way galaxy is huge it's diameters about 100,000 light-years wide which when converted to miles is about 621 quadrillion 371 trillion 192 billion 237 million three hundred thirty three thousand eight hundred ninety miles inside of all that is you live in this tiny portion of the Milky Way but even still our galaxy is a little runt compared with some others NGC 674 for a spiral galaxy similar to our own is twice as wide as the Milky Way stretching over two hundred thousand light-years across it is a massive but let's think bigger in this picture alone taken by the Hubble telescope there are thousands and thousands of galaxies each containing millions or billions of stars with their own planets some of the objects seen here may have formed as many as 11 billion years ago just three billion years after the Big Bang [Music] this period of time is considered one of the busiest star-forming periods and just keep this in mind that's a picture of a very small part of the universe so if you ever feeling upset about your favourite show being cancelled or the fact that they play Christmas music way too early just remember this is your home earth

HOW THE INTERNET IS CHANGING YOUR BRAIN
HOW THE INTERNET IS CHANGING YOUR BRAIN Just imagine what life would be without the internet some of us actually remember the time before everything was connected but the thought of living without smartphones maps where search engines ran at our fingertips now seems completely alien to us but how is our increasing reliance on the online world affecting us our relationships sources of information in the way we interact with each other is rapidly changing and there are even noticeable effects occurring within our brains with more and more devices relying on the internet it's no surprise that worldwide access is continually increasing in 2016 an estimated 3.5 billion people across the world access online services the top three countries were China with 721 million users followed by India and then the US with 290 million users by far the most common language used online is English followed by Chinese and Spanish the reliance on using the Internet is clearly changing across generations mainly depending on those who had to adapt to the new technology or those who grew up with that being readily accessible Generation X Internet users who were born between the mid 1960s and early 1980s logged an average of a hundred and ten minutes of mobile internet usage each day while Millennials who were born from the early 80s onward and grew up with the internet locked in the average of a hundred and eighty five minutes per day social media and messaging apps have become crucial to how we live our lives and communicate with more than a billion people regularly using apps like WhatsApp and even more using platforms such as Facebook and Twitter now with increasing use of Internet services it seems only natural that our behaviour is changing as well communication through these platforms is far more common which means phone calls and text messages are dropping in popularity and the use of online shopping and services has caused a sharp decline in the uses of traditional high street stores our towns and cities are starting to look very different to a few decades ago and this can all be attributed to what's now available online so how is all this affecting our brains with such a wealth of information at our fingertips the prevalence of the Internet is changing away our work millennials for example have been found to be far more forgetful than previous generations this is thought to be a direct result of the constant distractions that connectivity brings the basic principle behind memory is that the more a piece of information is repeated and thought about in your short-term memory the stronger its stored within your long-term memory constant new information however prevents this process from taking place as effectively and far less is permanently stored further to this the knowledge that information is readily available online means that you're less likely to form a memory of it while previous generations would have memorized directions on a map for example now there's a reliance on being able to access this GPS app on your fault we're also becoming more addicted to our smartphones constant glances to check for messages where updates means that we're becoming more and more used to developing a habit of being distracted our brains are less used to transitioning into deeper modes of thinking which makes it more difficult to do this when we need to some research has also shown that the constant flow of information has meant that we are losing cognitive control this means not only is our ability to control our minds reducing but also our ability to decide what we're thinking about the more you rely on your phone and an app to provide information to you the less you are able to determine what's important to focus on we are increasingly more concerned with information that's new as opposed to what's actually important so what can be done although technology is clearly affecting the way our brains work it's not necessarily a bad thing throughout history inventions have always enabled us to focus less on one thing so our time can be used somewhere else washing machines for example means that people spend far less time on cleaning clothes so these extra hours each day are taken up by work or other activities similarly so the ability to communicate and find information much faster on the internet means that we have extra mental capacity for other processes still reducing our screen time can help to keep our brains more active and malleable and it's a good idea to be aware of how much time you're spending on distractions each day so my advice to keep track of how much time you're spending a lie and you know unplug every once in a while.
