Bio
I love mysteries, twists of fate and surprise endings. I start writing with a concept and I don't have any idea of where the story will take me on its journey so I'm as much along for the ride as anyone reading it.

You Are Your Customer
There was a collective 'turning the corner' moment as the clock ticked down and we bid good riddance to 2020. I certainly felt it, did you? That emotional roller coaster, life threatening, mentally challenging year that we just escaped by the skin of our teeth was officially behind us, once and for all. Get thee behind me!

Stating the Obvious
Dear Mask, I know we've been together for almost a year now, and you truly are amazing! You've been there for me every single time I've needed you. You've held me tight at the most crucial moments in my life, especially at the grocery store when I needed you most. Honestly, you haven't done one thing wrong in our relationship.

Be the Change
I guess you'd say I'm like so many others who are living paycheck to paycheck, working day in, day out trying to make ends meet. No savings, no "buffer" account in case of emergencies, no insurance, no sick pay, nothing. Always living just on the edge, hoping that whatever income that comes in will cover the bills, with the constant stress of knowing that if I don't work for a few weeks, we may begin a downward spiral that will take a long time to dig out of. Or worse, lose it all.

Little Black Book
Little Black Book By Heidi Bacon January 22, 2021 Belinda had seen it there before, an unassuming little black book over on the very end of the third shelf in the library, sandwiched between the Anthology of Ancient Times and Dogbert’s Management Handbook. The last time she noticed it, the volume had been slightly pulled forward, which brought it to her attention and made her wonder if someone had recently slid it into place, or if it was left askew as the neighboring book had been pulled from the shelf. Had it been there all along or was it a new addition? And why would it matter either way? Up until last week, no one would have cared.
