Time, Date, Temp
5:58 pm, Friday, June 12, 2020. 74.3 degrees inside. 80 something outside. I sit in bed and stare at “The Classic Cars of the Fifties” mounted on the wall at the foot of the bed. Each one on its shelf that's shared by two others. All twelve portray a different world, a different time. My favorite is the third to the right on the third shelf down. Don’t know what it is, but it is smaller with a white top that looks like it may be a convertible and the body is a pretty sky-blue color. I would get up to see what make and model it is, but I don’t feel like it. Hmm – guess I am depressed. OK, so I’ll keep writing. To the right of the “Classic Cars of the Fifties” are the “Classic Cars of the 60’s”. Funny, “Fifties” is spelled out, and “’60s” is written in number form. Here again, each car sits on its shelf next to two others. These are all lower to the ground and not as ornate.

Fading
Every night at midnight, the purple clouds came out to dance with the blushing sky. And every night at midnight, Peril twinkled in delight as she whooshed in among the other small, wispy, balls of light. The dance was about to begin here above while life below waited for change as part of predestined plans. Leaving the light-filled realm required much patience from the wisps as they had to come to a complete stop before descending. Many of them had memories of existing below before serving here and those with happy memories shimmered in anticipation.

"Keeper's Room"
“If walls could talk, “What do you mean “if”? You should say, “when walls talk… listen.” “I’m the 2nd built here in the “Keeper’s Room”. Silly to separate out the 1st from the rest of us, I know. However; the eons spent here, in this place, have created the need for conversation on every topic, however minute. Therefore, I am the 2nd wall built in this room especially to comfort our “Bemused”.
