Qonstruction City... What is this place? - A land I still have yet to understand? The place I grew up in through my own lens?

My mirror shattered in front of me... Watched the pieces fall to my feet... Wondered if I could just piece by piece Rebuild this reflection I had of me
Hanging from the branch of my family tree My vision develops through this pupal stage Having a dance with the moving leafs
This bird flew past me, wings frozen and crisp Unheard, it lasted, with more friends, they'd grip Up on the leafless trees, looking for debris

We often forget the reason for our existence We camouflage it with a programmed resistance We breathe but don't live, this statement's insistent
They say that a coin has two sides But it's more like top and bottom One side has your head so high The other makes you feel rotten
