Releasing New Photos from the Vault!
After so long of procrastinating and never gathering ideas for a work around to edit those large .NEF files from my then new Nikon D500, I have decided to take some 'inspired action' to look through them after downloading the ON1 Photo Raw (2019 Edition), taking up a few minutes of my afternoon to install into my laptop. Before you ask, no, I am not sponsored by the ON1 company for mentioning their software in this entry. Just to add to this, I used the free trial edition. Now back to the story. I've gone through the files to pick out a handful of unique photos to release and add to my library. I'm happy to report 'mission accomplished' to this goal! The photos I've edited and picked out are stunning.

Why I Decided to Start as a Photo Editor?
"Life is meant to help you build a better life. It is never designed to be against you nor to be your worst enemy." At least this is a firm belief I've held since facing my greatest disappointment about a year ago. It's comforting for me to believe life works out for me in some way, some form. I decided months ago I was going to build myself a better life after discovering some wonderful, playful aspects of myself I wasn't aware were there. I had experiences that showed me how much I missed photography and videography of which I used to do a lot more frequently over a year prior. I've begun to find a regular job to work for the time being, resulting in my first couple of checks being saved up to purchase a slightly used Nikon D7000 from its previous owner on the Facebook Marketplace for $350 bucks total.

New Chapter: Returning to Photography
A new chapter has arisen in my life, and I feel it's only the beginning of it. This journey started in the beginning of January of this year, after being jobless for quite some time. I was completely lost, feeling like I had a missing piece of the puzzle within my soul to search for. I didn't take long before I realized, perhaps, being away from photography was the cause of my feeling like I had lost my way.
