Augusta Savage
When Augusta Savage arrived in New York at the height of the Harlem Renaissance, she only had a few dollars in her pocket. However, she quickly found herself in the company of the prominent writers and activists of the 1920s, including W.E.B. Du Bois and Marcus Garvey. Savage joined them while simultaneously combating poverty and racism. A plaster edition of Savage’s well-known Gamin was offered in the Two-Day Fine Art, Antique, & Jewelry Auction, presented by Case Antiques.

Architect Pierre Jeanneret
Modeller and furniture fashioner Pierre Jeanneret worked for a large portion of his life close by his more well-known cousin Le Corbusier (Charles-Edouard Jeanneret). Pierre cooperated with his cousin in 1922 after his graduation from the École des Beaux-Arts, and they chipped away at various significant structure projects together.

Andy Warhol Art Andy Warhol actually born as Andrew Warhola was born on 6th of August 1928 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It was just a 2 room apartment where Andy was born. His Parents Andrej and Julia Warhola had 3 children. All of them were boys. Andy being the youngest was loved by everyone in the family. In 1934 the Warhola family had to move to the Dawson Street in Pittsburgh. Beside their new home there was church St. John Chrysostom Byzantine Catholic.
