Going Nowhere
Bio
All through my gloriously zig-zaggy career, three things shine through: creativity, community and a fascination for human behavior. I founded Nowhere Collective, a network of creative makers + tinkerers with a love for people + planet.

Merry Stress-mas!Top Story - December 2021
I love the joy of the holidays. Twinkly lights. Cocoa delights. Snowy nights. Growing up I cherished every Christmas tradition, no questions asked. Picking out a tree that we’d trim to a holly, jolly soundtrack. Plugging in each string of lights and playing the game Which Bulb Is the Dud? Sneaking downstairs in awe at the vast number of colorfully wrapped presents under the tree and trying to guess which of us four kids would get the biggest one. Salivating over myriad crockpots lined up at my grandparents’ house stewing for our Christmas feast.

Gardening Is All the RageTop Story - July 2021
My dad is an attorney, but he defies all the stereotypes for lawyers. He is a kind, giving person. He would drop everything to pick up one of his four kids at school when we were sick. He would stop for someone pulled over on the berm of the highway to see if he could help. He works pro bono for friends and family who need help with their taxes or estates. He is a good listener. I learned strong ethics from him.

Coping with Eco-Anxiety
I can't walk past an alley without side-eyeing the long concrete corridors for my next dive. I get a rush when I spy a free, neglected thing with dreamy potential. I'm also a sucker for thrift stores, estate sales and free boxes. Trash-to-treasure hunts scratch my creative itch. They are also a coping mechanism to temporarily alleviate my eco-anxiety.
