The Dragon Born
There weren't always dragons in the valley. Just like the poison that now runs through my veins. As each day goes by I find myself being consumed by evil, it has tainted me from the inside out, every waking moment I feel as though spiders are crawling underneath my skin. It's unbearable, but I manage. Somehow we all manage. After the dragons killed my brother life became dull, they slaughtered him without remorse. He was one of them and they murdered him. You see my brother and I are first born royals with dragon blood, you could imagine my parent's reaction. Ecstatic about twins but when our eyes opened to reveal a black line instead of a circular pupil they were shocked. Well, that's what I was told anyway. The town folk have judged us for our appearance since it was first announced. Slowly they started to realise we were not your average human, we had abilities like no other, senses that created chaos that filled our fickle minds. It was consuming, the power, we lusted for more, if we could light a candle with the wave of our hands, why not a fire?
