The Sleeping Beauty in a tormented world
A long time ago, when I was still young and restless, as a student in an old-fashioned private school, I struggled particularly with one of its rules. It harshly stipulated that "all lights must be turned off in the dormitories at 9:30 pm". I couldn't disagree more. I thought that it was such a stupid rule for a young person - and honestly, I still believe that!!! Come on, seriously?

The richest refugee on the planet
She could feel the arms of the fever surrounding her body, one by one, a monstrous octopus arising from a deep, dark sea. The water was boiling in the kettle - and the noise was almost unbearable. Shivering and dizzy, she could barely keep herself standing on her feet while looking frenetically for medicines. She took Paracetamol, a Vitamin C, a sleeping pill, and then poured the hot water from the kettle in a plastic bottle with shaking hands. "That's it; I'm almost ready to fly now.”

The year I've joined the Army singing
With the ugly things going on around, and with no particular reason for expressing happiness in my existence either, I’m not at all in a mood for singing. I also think that my life has got enough routine and strict structure into it. Practically four days of seven from my week are running according to a detailed diary. However, knowing these very well, I've decided to choose a militarised approach and start singing in the process despite any negative feelings.

One heart cuddle
I knew what I wanted to achieve when I left my provincial city, a harbour of the Danube from Romania's South-East. That place couldn’t offer anything from the long list I had in mind, and I couldn’t wait for an opportunity to break out. When that came, I started my journey in the outside world with enthusiasm and a fierce ambition to make it work. Of course, I’ve had no idea of the obstacles and harsh surprises waiting hungrily for their prey, and where all that trip into the unknown would lead me. I packed my things, left in a hurry to the train station to catch the train to the capital, and so the big adventure began.
