The Oasis in the Sands of Time
I walked and walked through the towering dunes, the miniscule grains catching themselves on my eyelashes making tears stream down my face in an attempt to remove the small irritations. It felt like a lifetime I had been moving through this place without seeing another soul. My canteen was empty; my mouth as dry as the landscape.

Too many times the winter has made my mind yearn for warmer days. I missed the heat from the largest star in our solar system on my face and I missed the lack of need for socks and coats. It was snowing heavily, leaving a shimmer across the landscape, which meant extra layers for going outside.
I spend so much time in my garden, you could say I've put my heart and soul into it. The rose garden always needs pruning and the topiaries need trimming constantly. I love my flowers. I even have a separate part of the garden that I grow specifically to sell potted plants and cut flower bouquets. Every Tuesday and Thursday I go to my stall at the local indoor market and make people happy with my arrangements. Some even ask if I can make custom bunches on occasion, and one girl asked me to do her wedding flowers. She offered me a small fortune, too.
The Soulmate Song
When we are born, the universe assigns us a soulmate. The only way to find our soulmates is to sing the same song as each other. Only the two of you can hear each other sing or hum it. The music isn't always instant, the moment you meet someone; sometimes it can take a little time to become apparent to each other. But, to others it just sounds like static coming out of the persons mouth.
