The Struggle
Marriage. That's the big thing. It's hard. It takes time, effort, dedication, and more. Some people don't really understand that it's more than just saying I Do. Once you've done that part of the actual wedding, then the hard work starts. The moments where you have to actually sit back and take in the words, "For better or for worse." Or even the part in the vows that say, "in sickness and in health." They are both really tough statements to live up to. On that day of the wedding ceremony, when you are looking into your partner's eyes, it all seems so perfect, so dreamland. But really, at that very moment, you are making a strong commitment to each other.

The Office Christmas Party

Marriage On The Back Burner
So when the COVID-19 Pandemic started, my husband and I made the joke about coupl es during this time. Wondering how everyone would hold up under pressure. How many relationships would fail during this time? Little did I know, our relationship struggled a little during the time we've been at home. It just feels different. ADHD In A Child
ADHD, or in other words Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. I also like to call it the disorder that is often given by parents and teachers when they can't control the kid in the environment. Yes, there are some cases where the diagnosis is correct. Based on the children's behavior, learning patterns and more, it's easy to diagnose by far. I would like to tell my story on how my son was recently diagnosed with having ADHD at age 9. I of course will keep his name something different to protect him. We will just call him Jake in this case.

Return of the Ex
So for you guys that have been following this story of my life for about 2 years now, I thank you for your loyalty. For those of you that are new, welcome to this crazy life! So as you all know, I live in a very small town that makes you feel like you are in a hamster wheel of hell most of the time. Well recently my work schedule changed and it allowed me to start picking up my kids from school again. I was excited about it like any other parent that misses the kids when they are gone all day. So I was thinking that this moment of picking up my 9 year old was going to be the icing on the cake. Mommy had his favorite after-school snack in the car and rounds of classical music for the ride home.
