Review 3 (Arcane): 5 Questions Viewers Needed Jinx and Vi to Ask
Throughout the first season of League of Legends’ Arcane, we watch Vi wrestle with who Powder has become — a major driving plot of the show. She feels responsible for so much — not being there for her sister, letting her grow up with a maniacal kingpin like Silco, and losing all semblance of her morality. It’s enough to haunt any big sis and leave her desperate to make amends.

5 Things Marvel’s Hawkeye Did Right and 5 Things it Didn’t
At first, Marvel’s Hawkeye progresses leisurely, taking its time to establish Kate’s life and surrounding influences, namely, where her love for archery originates and the disdain for her mother’s relationship with Jack. After meeting Clint and getting roped into the Tracksuit Mafia’s hunt for the Ronin, things pick up, and what we have is a Christmas-feely and twist-filled adventure (although we all saw that big reveal coming from a mile away).

What to expect from Black Panther 2: Wakanda Forever
Following Black Panther’s epic debut in 2018, which saw the movie go on to have one of the most successful box office grossing in history with $1.3 billion and a total of 30 highly coveted awards, including 3 Oscars, Marvel ordered its sequel — Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

Hawkeye Episode 5 Recap: An Unexpected Dinner Guest
One thing I’ve come to love about Marvel TV shows is the thought-out exposition they give to The Blip’s aftermath. We finally get to see how the people who disappeared cope with missing out on 5 years of their lives, and how the ones they left behind deal with their absence. And this is exactly what the first 5 minutes of Hawkeye’s 5th episode: Ronin, does flawlessly.

Hawkeye Episode 4 Recap: A widow and her mark
One question I’m dying to have answered is if Clint will ever make it home in time for Christmas. I can’t be the only one whose heart aches seeing the dejected look on his kids’ faces whenever they’re told he won’t be home for one more day. The memory of those sad puppy dog eyes was almost enough to wipe off my grin from seeing Kate turn on the TV via coin-flip. But I’m getting ahead of myself.

Review 6 (Arcane): Is The Most Interesting Thing about Caitlyn Her Partnership with Vi?
We are first introduced to Piltover’s finest, Caitlyn Kiramman in Act 1 Episode 1: Welcome to the playground. However, she’s not shown on-screen until Act 1 Episode 2: Some mysteries are better left unsolved, in a scene with a young Jayce that easily solidifies her character as the sensible and down-to-earth lady we come to love.

The Argo — The Shallow Tales Review
For a brief second, the sky resembled a slumbering monster rudely awakened. Its grey teeth, our ashen sky. Its hulking mass, our darkest afternoon, feeding on our fear and misery till all hope visible through the clouds was snuffed out.

Review (Arcane): The Silco and Jinx dynamic
Aside from its intricately detailed world-building and phenomenal theme song performed by Imagine Dragons, League of Legends’ Arcane has proven to be a triple-threat with its powerful art style, unique characters and nail-biting plot.
