Why are genuine relationships hard to find in 2022?
Many young adults feel that dating these days almost feels like they're gambling. Gambling with emotions and time to be exact. There are many young adults on the dating app right now and many of them have had a horrible experience. The other day I had talked to a male friend of mine and he mentioned he had signed up for an account on a dating platform that's very popular, the BLK app. This dating app is marketed on social media platforms such as tik tok and instagram. Being that my friend was seeing the advertisement for this app numerous times, he decides to give it a shot because he was tired of being by himself. He matches with a few girls once signing up for the app. However, he encountered a lot of woman just looking for money! Do the word's "Cash app me" sound familiar for today's generation? Immediately after my friend discovered most of the women on the dating app were all about money, he began to feel discouraged. He wondered how he would find an actual woman with substance. A woman that was not interested in receiving money, but more so in to having intriguing conversation. When my friend had told me about his experience I kind of felt his pain. I had told him that perhaps a lot of woman are programmed by the music that's being put out these days. Most songs in the rap music genre are all about having money or taking someone else's money (particularly a man),sex, violence, and drugs. Musicians like megan the stallion, the city girls, saucy santana, and many more are the blame for the way todays generation of woman act. Here's what's ironic though, the celebrities putting this type of music out are in steady relationships! When my friend had told me about his encounter with money hungry woman on the BLK app, I started to think about my own strange encounters with men that I've met on the same platform. Let's just say there were a lot of crazy experiences I've suffered from as well. It seems as though a lot of men on the app have mommy issues and a lot of them feel that a female owes them sex after doing a nice gesture. Crazy right? What ever happened to real men and women?Men like our grandpa's from back in the day and women like our grandma's. When I began to think about the crazy encounters that many women and men have experienced from dating apps, it was hard not to think that the young adult generation is being programmed by music. I mean how can it not be true? A lot of people undermine the powerful effects of music and how it can influence anyone! Just look around. Many young men that listen to rap music or rnb music think that having two females or more is the life and many young women that listen to the same genre of music believe that having multiple men to cash out on them is an even better life instead of generating their own wealth. What do you all think? Has music negatively impacted the younger generation or do the parents play a part too? Think about how parents raised their kids in the 50's and 60's and compare it to now. Do parents these days they lack discipline? Are the parents too carefree when it comes to raising young men and young women? I mean what could the real issue be here as to why the younger generation of people lack respect for themselves and others? Feel free to comment down below. This is an open discussion! Anyone's views are appreciated and welcomed!
