What people with Fibromyalgia want you to know
Things People with Fibromyalgia want you to know 1. We are always tired. It doesn’t matter if we fell asleep at 8 p.m. and woke up at 8 a.m., chances are we are not waking up feeling refreshed even after those 12 hours. Our “sleep” isn’t as good for us as for someone not suffering from this disease. We toss and turn in desperate attempts to find positions that are comfortable, we take forever for our minds to turn off, and often times we wake up at least once during the night.

Fibro Life
#TeamFibro I really believe that I've had fibromyalgia 4 many, many years before I was actually diagnosed with it at 38 years old. I can remember in my late teens early 20s, constantly not feeling well and constantly being tired and being achy and sore. At first I would contribute it to my obesity and then when my daughter was a little over a year old I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes , so from that point on I contributed how I felt on a daily basis to my unmanaged diabetes.

wasted time
If I could go back in time, I would have gone about things a lot differently than I did. I would have not only recognized the red flags, but I would have also taken them as signs to back off from the relationship and set the boundaries right then and there. Looking back on these 16 years, I can clearly see where I had gone wrong and I am afraid that it is too late to start setting the boundaries.

cat-scratch fever
Chapter 1 The cat-scratch fever was taking its time transforming her into a creature of the night, searching for more than the irony taste of mouse blood to fill the void of her past life. Wandering the empty neighborhoods late at night was something she was getting used to, as was her increasing awareness of the world around her. Being homeless wasn’t a worry anymore; she was perfectly fine finding a small dark place to lay her head.
