Daybreak
Whoever came up with the phrase “better safe than sorry” would need to do some real evaluating in 3056. Here in the underground, everyone plays it safe. There are many who’ve never seen the sky, surviving off of sad substitutes like daylight lamps and bottled vitamin D. The bunker keeps us fed, keeps us safe…and keeps us in the dark.

10 Shows That Deserved Better
It’s 2021 and there are still only two types of shows: those that ended too soon or those that couldn’t end soon enough. We all have That Show™ that we will never forgive the writers or network for their inevitable massacre. Aside from Avatar: The: The Last Airbender, it’s rare to find a show that has a plot and sticks to it in some capacity. No weird side quests or out-of-character adventures to make the studio money. The Power of Storytelling in Children’s Media
I remember waking up early on Saturday morning to watch cartoons — Sonic X, to be specific — and eagerly anticipating every fight scene. It didn’t matter what episode played, the heroes, or the plot, I was enamored. This continued into my Disney Channel days, tuning in and tuning out, looking to be entertained, without a thought spared of the show after the episode was over. Everything was formulated to entertain children, not to grow them. That is, until Avatar: The Last Airbender came along. (Avatar spoilers ahead: read with caution!)
