Two weeks ago, my family and I adopted two adorable kittens.
We’ve all been there—New Years Eve. And a friend asks you what your resolutions are. You’ll answer: "I wanna lose X amount of weight," or, "I’m gonna try to eat healthier."
It’s summer, and you’re halfway through the holidays. Your friends returned from an exotic island, Instagram is full of orange tans and envious locks. But your hair seems stuck at its current length—not long, not short, but an awkward length in the middle. You’ve looked everywhere for hair treatments but nothing seems to work. You’ve stumbled across this page, a last, hopeless resort…
It’s that time of year again—when it’s way too cold but the true magic of Christmas hasn’t kicked in yet despite all the Santa-themed stalls and shops (probably because they began in September!). Cosy high-street cafés are selling way-too-expensive gingerbread lattes when you're trying to do Xmas shopping early, or your local Tesco is advertising Mince Pies for cheaper than Sainsbury’s. But what grabs your eye is the new Christmas confectionery: the chocolate Santa’s or the advent calendars, a jam tart or two, and the large Quality Street box going half price. All guilt-free because it’s December!
