Unidentified
My name is Emma, my whole life, I have been fascinated by cryptozoological creatures such as Bigfoot and the Loch Ness monster. I had not, however, been able to visit the places in which these types of creatures have been sighted. After years of never missing a day at work, I decided to take a small vacation. I saw this as the perfect opportunity to head out and explore the wilderness. That same evening I went online to book a week's stay at a cozy-looking cottage in a small city called Grafton Illinois, enjoyed some warm tea and drifted off into a peaceful sleep.

The Unexpected Return
There was once a small town along Prescott Valley in Arizona that I once called home, and I say once because, well it's long gone now. You see, my buddy Evern and I are Journalists and we left our hometown on a trip to get all the details on a new mutant spider encountered in the Aokigahara forest in Japan. We knew we couldn’t miss this opportunity to document such a fascinating find. Evern and I took the first flight out of Arizona to Fujinomiya Japan. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Mr. Nakimoto, who is the reporter who had supposedly encountered and took a video on his phone of what he called the Mutant spider. Mr. Nakimoto was a kind, respectful man with good taste in hats, it had been somewhat obvious as he wore a red fedora the day we met him. On the way there Mr. Nakimoto walked us through the encounter and told us that he always passed by the Aokigahara forest on his morning walks but that he never dared walk deeper into the forest due to the constant, uneasy feeling of being watched. He expressed to us that he had never encountered anything bigger than a small deer on his morning walks. I looked over and asked, “ Mr. Nakimoto, was there anything different about the morning walk in which you encountered the mutant spider??”. Mr. Nakimoto looked at me through the rearview mirror with fear in his eyes as he mentioned in as much detail as possible, the morning of the walk-in which he encountered the unusual creature. Of all the things he mentioned there was something that stood out and that was when he mentioned the forest being extra quiet that morning because upon past research I had found a pattern between sighting reports of creatures such as Bigfoot and Siren's head. What all these sightings had in common was exactly what Mr. Nakimoto had mentioned. The extreme silence in the forest where there should be sounds such as chirping birds and swaying branches, extreme silence is usually a huge sign of the presence of a larger creature in the area. For this reason, I felt chills run down my spine. Mr. Nakimoto was kind enough to take us to the two-bedroom cottage we had rented for the week, Evern and I got our bags and took them inside, got our coats, and headed back to the car. It was getting rather cold, I slid my hands into my sleeves as I closed the door.

Meant to be?
"I once believed that life was as simple as you keep hope and things come true. However, if this theory had ever been true, it hadn’t become clear at this point, in this specific situation. I could say it a million times but, each time it would be taken the same way, I am not the type of person to rush into things blindly, neither am I the type to make promises I can’t keep. Therefore, I promise this is the last time I will say this. Every night I have wished upon a star that you wake up feeling happy, healthy, and with a smile. Every morning I wish that your day has been going well and that someone made you laugh and smile. I care about you very much, you have no idea what it’s like to feel connected to you on a deeper level. You have no idea how it feels to not know where things will end up or if there is even a chance that you like me as well. I know I said I want us to be best friends than go to each other’s weddings but, the reality is that I dream of a wedding where I am the bride and you the groom. Surrounded by our family and friends, you have no idea what it would feel like to see you look at someone else with eyes of love and admiration and getting married to them. You have no idea how I would feel witnessing that. I would show support and wish you both the best while it would tear me apart. You have no idea, sometimes my hope increases, and I come to think that there is a chance you see me as I see you. But you are working on yourself, learning, and discovering more day after day. I am also improving and trying to finish all I must get done. I get that we both have things to do before any steps are taken but, that’s what scares me. Nothing will affect you because you have experienced life in many ways and no matter what, I know you’d find a way to get through successfully, while also finding a respectable lovely woman with the inner strength and character that matches yours along the way. As for me, I have yet to experience life first hand. I have so much to learn but, what I do fear is not having you in my life anymore because you have no idea how much my life has changed since you came into my life. You illuminated the darkest of corners. I would miss you dearly but, I do have clear that if you were to find the one, I’d step back and let you be happy. What matters to me is that you are happy and healthy, even if it means losing you forever. I pray every night that God shows me the path and that if you are a part of that path to please help me make it possible to get to you, I know once I am in your arms, I’d be home. You have no idea how it feels to overthink about what the future holds for us. The only thing that brings peace to my mind, heart, and soul is the fact that due to your way of being, I am more than sure that you shall live a happy life filled with love, laughter, respect, loyalty, and understanding. For, you mastered what many struggled their whole life to comprehend, that is the ability to let go of what is weighing you down and living life without worrying what others think of you. I admire you for it. Speaking of admiration, I adored how lovely you expressed what you believe. You are an inspiration for my poetry, an amazing, Friend, Brother, and Son, one day a loving husband and father. I do not know where our destiny shall lead us, I have no idea if our paths shall collide along the way. But, what I do know is that I got to know you, I got to share a part of my life with you, I got to see you, make you laugh and smile, I got to support you and share opinions with you on many topics, I got to chat and see some of your family. You were able to have a chat with my parents. Life is unpredictable, but I would do this all over again without a doubt, even after knowing the unknown possibility that we’d drift apart. I’m glad I got to meet you in this life. No matter what happens, I shall never forget you, I shall remember you always as the funny, caring, talented speaker that illuminated the lost’s paths and helped guide them towards a better life, touching their hearts and souls with your inspiring words, that made even the people who had lost all hope, feel that they could achieve anything they set their mind to do. I’ve met many people but none like you, there will never be another you, and meeting you has been a blessing. Thank you for everything, I look forward to remaining beside you as we find out what the future holds for each of us. Cheers Here is to when and if we ever meet in person. I wish you the very best and hope you remember me always as the person that told you crazy stories and made you laugh because, in reality, your smile and laughter always have meant a lot to me. May God guide us to where we were meant to be. "

Abandoned Village
It was a beautiful summer day, I was online searching for a nice place I could travel to and spend a few days in. To my surprise i came across an abandoned village that was automatically recommended to me by best hotels in the area. I was going to ignore it knowing that it was impossible for a place that was abandoned to have a hotel up and running but, curiosity got the best of me.

Forgotten Town
"I have been on many adventures throughout my life but this adventure stood out from all the rest, it all started when I took my new car on a midnight drive and ended up in what seemed like a town from the civil war era. As I stopped to take a look. I was immediately captivated by the view, There was snow covering the flower beds and roofs of all cottages in, site. I decided to take a walk through the town since I was too far from home to drive back, I figured I'd just find a hotel or something, the town did look interesting after all, very filled with life in every corner, or so I thought. As I got out of my car I was wrapped up in the cold crisp air that surrounded me. Making my way into town I started to notice how lonely this town really was. Everything seemed to be left as is at the time of evacuation. Under the dim beams of the moonlight, I could see what appeared to be a larger facility that was farther away from the town. With the click of my phone flashlight, I followed the dimly lit path to the large facility, when I first came face to face with the building I was overcome with an eerie feeling , the building appeared to be dark blue in color and had two large windows at the very top as if there were an attic. With a swift push, the door creaked open and a strange smell of rotten flesh and toxic chemicals escaped into the cold crisp night. Stepping into the facility I came across a strange gooey sea-green substance, from there it seemed to be one surprise after another. In the far left corner there appeared to be an examination table next to a door that led to a room in which I discovered what appeared to be a dissection laboratory room, in the far right corner of the room was a wall filled with jars. Liquid filled jars with something floating in each one, once I got closer I made out these strange structures to being, surgically removed anatomical alien parts as well as test tubes filled with different colored neon blood types. That’s when it all became clear to me that this facility was a laboratory in which aliens were being captured and brought to for further investigation. Now, this all had me thinking if maybe this was the cause for the townspeople disappearing and leaving everything behind but, then again I am still assuming the town is abandoned and I am out at midnight walking around like a zombie so nothing could really be confirmed until I got some sleep and find more proof tomorrow to know for sure if my findings are the true cause of the town's evacuation. Now to find a hotel...if there even is one around here. I quickly make my way back to the town in search of my car but there was no car in sight. "

Realistically Efficient
"I was open, I was honest, I gave my all, I changed my wrong, I fixed what was broken, I illuminated what was left in darkness, I gave you my time, my heart, my care, i gave you my smile. Upon accepting the fact that I didn’t stand a chance against them, overwhelmed I laid my head back, my eyes closed and I fell into a deep sleep as the very last tear escaped my eye. Memories replayed in my head I felt myself drifting farther and farther away from the dream and closer to the reality that challenged me to look beyond the horizon. Should’ve known I would find the clarity she spoke of once before. Beyond the horizon as the waves crashed against the rocks and the sand swept under the water. I found clarity, the clarity to see,hear,understand and feel what was meant for me, the clarity that kept me away from what was not meant for me and set forth the first stone that paved the path that would lead me to a place where I could freely express myself without being afraid to get hurt or laughed at. Pure poetry filled with truth and hope for future improvement."

Stardust
“Upon a thought or two, might have you ever wondered what roamed among the stars? Where the stardust surrounds what you have come to know, might have you ever wondered what roamed?. Beyond the galaxy, in a far away sea of sparkling lights, your eyes somehow find it’s way to it. You breath in as stardust fills your lungs, slowly evolving into what you’ve come to know, your eyes shut tight, not knowing what awaits you on the other side. You feel energy flow through your veins like waves against a rock. Upon opening your eyes you find yourself floating in an infinite galaxy in which you know not where you shall go. You float on and on, trusting that wherever you are taken is where you must be.”

Do you see what i see?
“ Sometimes we give what we believe is our best but is it enough? Was it ever enough? We spend a lifetime doing what we feel is right but is it? We all have our way of thinking and expressing, our way of leading or following, but what we all have in common is that we want to succeed. How do we achieve it ? Well one way to succeed is to accept who you are and your way of processing, everyone sees the world from a different perspective, yet we all come together in the end to converse of what we see when we look out into the ocean, what we see when we look up at the star filled sky. For we all have our own way of describing what we see and what it reminds us of. Could it be that between deep breaths and rain drops we could regain the inner calmness that once kept us going?. Although we are strong , capable individuals could it be wrong to somewhat depend on their smile when everything comes crashing down? for in their smile you find comfort and the reassurance of a better tomorrow. I believe we don’t depend but rather choose this as a reason to keep moving forward, for as a motivation they never stopped. As I slowly make my way out under the star filled sky, every star illuminating the darkest of spaces, I come to wonder if you see what I see when I look up at the stars above...how they shine for you as an example of how bright you can be if only you wanted to. You amazing human, open your eyes, look again, tell me...do you see what I see?. “

Beyond personal view
"Like a raven in the night, they may not see you but you see them, upon noticing every detail, you’ve come to the conclusion that although they smile, there is far more than meets the eye. Within their eyes you uncovered the sadness and worry that they hide with a smile, after all, you see what they don’t see, through illusions they painted a portrait with black and white paint, one they’ve grown to believe is out there somewhere. Although in black and white, you saw a colorful painting, you began to wonder how they couldn’t see it that way. Well we all have our own way of seeing the world but that doesn’t mean that all is black and white. Those who see only black and white, chose to not open their hearts and minds, they chose to put up walls and speak of darker days. Think for just one moment, what do you see when you close your eyes? what do you see when you open them? Do you see it? The light? Without it you’d see nothing. Now tell me, would you choose dark over light? For denying light will only prove one thing, that you my dear chose to deny what was in front of you the whole time. Life is colorful, but we limit ourselves to only black and white."
