'It is not a lack of love, but a lack of friendship that makes unhappy marriages'
Being human means never really living in the moment. We constantly crave new and fun experiences to look forward to so that when one event is happening, we aren’t too sad when it ends because we have something else to look forward to. However, there are the odd and rare occasions when we experience something so special, we never want it to end.

She Shines with the Radiance of a Thousand Suns
Have you ever stopped and really thought about the world? Attempted to pause time even for a second and think about how privileged our society really is? Because compared to the past, we live almost like royalty. 'Don't Worry About the Bits You Can't Understand. Sit Back and Allow the Words to Wash Around You, Like Music'
Anyone who knows me will know of my obsession with Roald Dahl's Matilda, his quote regarding how books managed to transport Matilda to 'new worlds and introduced her to amazing people who lived exciting lives', related well to me as it was also something I searched for but, little did I know that I didn't need anyone who lived an exciting life, I just had to confine in four particular women that were already present in my current life.

'All Happy Families Are Alike; Each Unhappy Family Is Unhappy in Its Own Way'
I’ve come across thousands of quotes in my life, maybe even millions, but Maya Angelou’s "one isn’t necessarily born with courage, but potential" has stuck with me through even the hardest of times. Literature has always acted as my escape. I find myself constantly searching for a character or a specific plot line to relate to what I am also going through, and if this turns out to be a bad situation, I like to think that I’m never suffering alone. However, there are also particularly strong women in my current, non-fictional life that is by far superior to any fictional world.
