The Secret Dreamer
At six, I had my first experience of entering someone's dream. My mother's sharing of the profound history of our family's lineage, tracing back to a remarkable heritage of fairies, was an awe-inspiring moment. We were given an extraordinary ability by our ancestors to reveal the complicated and covert misdeeds of humans. It was a sacred duty that we carried with utmost reverence and responsibility, stepping in whenever individuals displayed malicious intent and violated the fundamental values of humanity, causing harm to their fellow beings. I always perceived myself not as someone who intrudes upon dreams, but as a watchful protector, intercepting the intricate narratives that unravel in the depths of the slumbering mind. Expressing it may prove challenging, but I hold the belief that when a person carries the burden of a hidden verity, that dreamlike state endures.
