Waking Up To Furry Porn
I woke up really early that morning. 3:00 AM. Since my friends, Nora, Rami, and Kevin were still up watching porn. No, it wasn't regular porn, it was furry porn. Which is some fucked up shit in my opinion. They mostly watched for the gross factor of it, but they thought it would be funny watching a bunch of people having sex while wearing animal costumes.

About Time: The Film That Can Change Your Perspective
My long malaise ended on the day I got a random brown paper box on my porch in early May of 2021. I do not remember ordering this thing online, but it was delivered by UPS anyway, along with a note from someone or something named "The Universe".

Why Automation Could Result In Mass Unemployment
As technology races ahead, many Americans will be left behind as emerging technology, such as automation, replaces jobs and causes mass unemployment in both developed and undeveloped countries. While automation has the potential to dramatically transform the world, governments should look into ways to minimize a few concerning effects of automation. Millions could lose their jobs, mental health and poverty could worsen, and income inequality will rise.

Moore's Law Is Dying
Transistors on integrated circuits have been doubling every year since the 1970s in a historical trend known as Moore’s law. It's been amazing so far, and in some ways, it has allowed civilization to progress at a pace not previously imaginable. However, there are several reasons why it won't last. “Well, first of all, in about ten years or so, we will see the collapse of Moore’s law. In fact already we see a slowing down of Moore’s law. Computer power simply cannot maintain its rapid exponential rise using standard silicon technology. Intel Corporation has admitted this” (Kaku). We’re reaching the limits of what electrons can do, and that is not going to change.

Cheering Up With Chocolate Cake
I was at a friend's house for dinner. It wasn't like one of those fancy restaurants, but it had some good food and the people there were pleasant enough. I'd been there once before for a New Year’s party, so I was comfortable with everyone else. We chatted about our days while we ate, then finished up by sharing some wine. The conversation turned to my recent breakup, which made me feel awkward because I hadn't really talked about that in front of anyone else. But after a few glasses of wine, I started talking more freely.
