Until we meet again...
I have always loved dogs and knew I would have a dog as an adult. I never could have imagined the positive impact that being a dog owner would have on my life. I also never imagined that my adoption of Mason on that cold day in January would change my life.

Food Orgasm
Eating out is a scary thing for me, I often have a million and one questions going through my head. I have Celiac Disease, which means that my body is intolerant to gluten, rye, oats and barley. This disease makes it very difficult to eat out and feel safe. Eating out as a person with Celiac Disease can be challenging.

Thanks from your biggest fan....
Dear Soror Phylicia Rashad, You have been someone I have looked up to for over 3 decades. The class, poise, confidence and sophistication you exude are what kept my eyes on you, even after the Cosby Show. I have talked about you to anyone who would listen. As an educator, I always would tell my students that I was blessed to grow up in an era where class was accepted and respected. I praise you for always dressing and acting with class and decency. You were the type of woman I always wanted to be once I “grew up”.

Shoulda, Coulda, Wouldas.....
I have never been a woman with very many regrets in life, until now. With the Pandemic and Civil unrest, I have not been confident with anything or any decisions I have made lately. I guess I could contribute it to too much alone time. Too much time to think, too much time to miss things and people that I shouldn’t. I went online and Googled how to relax and meditate as I heard this is one way to make it through the Pandemic without pulling out all of your hair or committing a heinous crime.

Coat Thinner than a Robe
I often tell my mother that I feel like someone is either listening to my phone calls or there is something that is implanted in my computer and cellphone to read my thoughts. How many times have you mentioned the need for something and log onto one or more Social Media sites and see an ad for that product? Well, this is what happened to me on the day I made my first purchase that was influenced by Social Media.

Entangled
Entangled Chris sits at his computer and stares at the screen. “I can’t believe that I made it! In five years, I’ve gone from being homeless and on the streets, to winning $100,000 for my invention.” Chris sits in silence for several minutes before he decides to do an Internet search on a woman from his past. He types in the name Sandra Young and clicks on several images and after a couple of minutes he sees the Ms. Young he knew and loved. As he sees her picture, he stares into space and thinks about all of the good and bad times that he shared with Ms. Young.
