Dear Ms. Maria Gavrilovic and Mr. Alex Ortiz:
Thank you for producing "A rare look inside hospitals battling coronavirus - 60 Minutes" It's important to understand what's going on within hospital walls and the heroic efforts of the healthcare workers that are tirelessly working around the clock to meet the demands of an ever evolving health crisis. But I wanted to reach out because this was the first time I've been disappointed by 60 Minutes reporting from one side of the story. Especially seeing Northwell CEO, Michael Dowling, as the face of our battle, speaking on behalf of doctors, when he is on the NYS Medicaid Redesign Team to recommend $2.5 billion in hospital budget cuts, and healthcare dollars are supplying the CEO bonuses and incentives.
