The Painted Atlas Presents: Art Deco Buildings Around the World, Part 1
Hello, and welcome to my feature on Art Deco buildings around the world! My name is Denise Elnajjar, and I'm an illustrator who has just launched my project The Painted Atlas, where I will be painting something for each country, each week! Content is available now for members who join. This project was made possible by entering a challenge right here on Vocal, also judged by Memberful. (You can check out my original entry, "Armchair Traveling to Every Country Through Art" here!) It is my hope that The Painted Atlas each week will spark wonder and maybe even a little joy. It is suitable for lovers of travel, design, art, geography, and more. A portion of suscription proceeds will go towards efforts to remove plastic from the oceans.

Collectible Items
The vines began growing back slowly, as they sang a song of what used to be. She followed them, and walked over to where she liked to pick the flowers. There weren’t many, but they were enough. It was a simple plan— pluck off a few blooms, and return to the gravelly road ahead.

Victory Treasures
The light shone green and purple, and then red, pouring in through the windows. This was a big day and it was time for me to get up. Although we prepared the town square for the parade, there were still some last-minute things to take care of. Breathless, within moments I was running out to the street.

If You Liked 'Emily in Paris', You Should Check Out 'Call My Agent!'
Hello and bonjour! You've likely heard of Emily in Paris on Netflix, and if so, what's your opinon? Because we ALL have an opinion about this show. A lot of people have enjoyed this show, and a lot of people haven't. Much of that has to do with what Emily in Paris is meant to be-- what it tried to do-- versus what it comes off as. I'm a firm believer in all of us having our own opinions, so let's dig in to what makes this show polarizing, and why Call My Agent! is an amazing show to check out for purveyors of all opinions on Emily in Paris.

Catch Her If You Can! A Feature on Jessica Nabongo
I'm excited to highlight someone who I think is super inspirational. Travel influencer and creator Jessica Nabongo-- @thecatchmeifyoucan on Instagram-- is the first Black woman to travel to all 195 countries on this earth! As of October 2019, she has achieved this feat and has been on Good Morning America. Jessica has also been part of the Four Seasons celebration of Black excellence on Instagram, and has been written about in Forbes. She is writing a book about her experiences; I can't wait to read it when it comes out.

The Cocktail Tables and a Little Game
I got out of the car, ready to make my way in to the Bradsford Oxen Club. It was my first time here, but for someone like me, it wasn't going to be my last. You may not know my real name, but to the people at the Bradsford Oxen Club tonight, my name is Miss Sophia Valencia Woodson.

Scorpio: Pandora's box of the Zodiac
In the astrology world, there's a lot to be said about Scorpios. A LOT. I don't follow horoscopes at all, and I know nothing of what my rising or moon signs are. However, I do think the personality profiles and traits assigned to each zodiac sign are interesting. They can be fun as long as they're not taken completely seriously. We are more than that within the bounds of our star sign.
