Finding my Other Half PART 3
Maya’s POV My mother sat me in the passenger seat and pulled the door shut behind her in the driver’s. “Can.. Can we talk when we get home?” My mother asked hesitantly. “I promise I will tell you everything.. About her..” She muttered the last part so silently I almost didn't hear it. I was still stunned out of my mind.

door to find a round glass hallway that went around the bottom of a huge lab room where Ella was chained in a simple outdoors-themed habitat. She had forgotten her helmet, and people started asking her questions, Ella saw her and started fighting the chains even more, distracting the pixy workers. May’s friend was hiding in a little corner. He was waiting for her. The two locked all the workers in the habitat with Ella and they started looking around at all the buttons and switches. Everything was written in pixy, which ____ luckily knew how to read. He used one of his simple wizard spells to teleport the wizard and his equipment here so he could cast the spell. He would have teleported them to him instead, but phoenixes can’t be teleported by wizard magic, and Ella was inside the habitat, and they were in the little glass hallway. The wizard cast a spell to make them switch places with the workers, so they were in the habitat with Ella and the workers were in the glass hallway. Elkabar came into the glass hallway and with Ella’s journal in his hand and saw the wizard about to cast the spell. He broke into the habitat room magically and destroyed the spell. He told them that spell would kill her. It would destroy all the magic and while Ella was in this form, that would destroy her completely. He then said he knew how to return her to her normal form, but everyone would have to leave except for May. He told May she was the only one who could break the spell. It wasn’t a matter of magic, it was different. Ella was grieving over having killed May. The real May. She felt she deserved rejection and being trapped as a phoenix. He told May he was going to give her temporary powers, but she would only have them for two minutes. She would have to cast a very intricate spell. He didn’t tell her what it would do, only that it would result in Ella returning to her regular form. May was given the powers and she cast the spell. It took a while, May felt different when it was over. Ella had returned. She and May hugged for a long time. When they broke away from the hug, Ella noticed Elkabar. She started shooting spells at him frantically, pulling May behind her. May stopped her and told her (with some assistance from Elkabar) the truth of everything that had happened. Ella forgave Elkabar after his many frantic apologies were put to an end. Elkabar had a grand coach prepared for them to take back to their parents and home. Elkabar, Ella, May and _____? Talked on their long journey back. When they did get home, Ella and May explained everything to their parents (well their mom and May’s kinda dad?) everything that needed explaining, ____ listened and was still slightly confused. After that Ella still had her powers and she used them regularly, she visited Elkabar a lot and May joined in sometimes. The wizard was paid for his troubles by Elkabar, and as for _____, he and May became greater friends than they were when they were kids.

He was the one in charge. Elkabar they called him. Elkabar was the king of pixies, even though he was an elf. Part pixy, some say, but mostly elf. May was mistaken for the general and got sent in with him. She hid immediately. Elkabar started going over his plan, from the beginning. He spoke out loud about his whole plan. Here it is: He was, and is, in love with May and Ella’s mother. He believed Ella was his child and that she was rightfully his. He sent people to steal her one night and tested to see if this was true. It was. Ella was Elkabar’s biological daughter. He saw that she had some power, but if it wasn’t added to, it wouldn’t evolve at all. She would be powerless. So he put some of his power into her. A little too much. She was given more power than her young self could handle, and removing it would kill her. So he had to leave her, put her back. When he found out she had a sister, he wanted to do the same to her, but Ella had started making her own mind and way. She took May, but instead of leaving her where she was being forced (by magic) to, she threw her off a cliff into the raging river below. Elkabar was furious, but partially proud of his daughter for disobeying him so. He got his subjects to kidnap Ella every year after that, and put sleeping dust on her so she wouldn't remember him the next day. He would give her a little more power each year, most years too much. He did this until her 18th birthday, when he put far too much power into her. She didn’t remember him, but all the power inside of her knew where it came from, and she was forced to go to her father. When she arrives she hooks herself (unconsciously, her power does this to her) up to the power-giving crystal. She had only gotten power from Elkabar, not straight from the power crystal. This crystal had endless power, but could only be given to people who had been born with even a small piece of power. Elkabar found her just in time, and quickly removed her from the crystal, knowing too much power would kill her. She was still unconscious, her power controlled her movements. Elkabar quickly got her removed from the fortress, afraid she would awaken at any moment. Then she started transforming, he tried to stop it but couldn’t. Soon she was a phoenix, and he could do nothing but flee back into the fortress. She was more powerful than him. She flew away and he searched for her until his search team found her in the woods. He took her back here and tried to reverse the transformation. He had been having little success. He started breaking down, as he spoke to himself. May took off her helmet and walked over to him, her kindness overflowing her fear of the evil elf king. He asked who she was, she told him. He used his power to slam her back against the wall, but as his power was linked with Ella’s, he couldn’t hurt her, and she was lowered to her feet. He was confused and May tossed him the journal, told him it was something to read, from his daughter. She ran out of the room and searched through the fortress to find Ella. She did, Ella was screaming (phoenix screams are loud) the ground was also slightly vibrating. May entered through a door to find a round glass hallway that went around the bottom of a huge lab room where Ella was chained in a simple outdoors-themed habitat.

Wizard Characters PART 2
Ichriby (ick-reh-be) (unsure of spelling, only pronunciation) Ichriby was a misunderstood character. She grew up a pretty princess, adored by all as her father began as the ‘prince of the revolution’ (they didn’t have royalty, but it was the jist of his nickname) and progressed on to become ‘king of the revolution’ (though he only ran it for a short time, dying a mere two years after his daughter) at first he disliked Marielle, he didn’t approve that his daughter wasn’t who he thought she was (her journals were uncovered and they showed that she did love Marielle back, which caused concerned friends to stick close to Marielle so she wouldn’t off herself) but he grew to love Marielle as she showed how helpful she was in expanding the revolution (which was more of an aggressive nation than a revolution, but I like the name). She is killed by Jacobs a couple months (?) after having her daughter, whom she names (?) ____ (she might not name her child, and the girl is named where she’s sent away by Marielle, but maybe not. There was a lot of pressure on her to be perfect, as the daughter of the ‘prince’ then ‘king’ of the revolution, she always had to be pretty and actually got proposed to MANY times before her death (which maybe a war began over??).

Wizard Characters
CHARACTERS: First name? Jacobs Jacobs is a complex character. He grew up an orphan and is a pilot, though he had to hide in old wizard dude’s academy (which didnt have anyone else, it was more like his home) where he was forced to learn wizardry. He grew up a pilot for the revolution and was very good and started getting targeted by an enemy/they found out his identity so he hid with the wizard and began using only his last name, which he barely remembered. He meets Ichriby when he returns to the revolution, she is related/friends with someone important in the revolution and the two fall in love. Though really they were forced together by everyone else saying how good they’d look together. They present a perfect couple together. Ichriby ends up pregnant, which they keep a secret. Jacobs was close with dead guy and hates old wizard dude for not helping dead guy before he died. Jacobs blames old wizard dude for dead guy’s death. Jacobs is very faithful to the revolution, though his magic is kept secret because wizardry is something the revolution fights against. Jacobs doesn’t know what the revolution is fighting for but with all of him he wants to fight for them, even if he’s left in the dark, which he often is. He gets used quite a lot for his shocking skills in piloting. He’s got some emotional trauma from the badlands (in lack of a better name) where/when his parents were killed (or maybe died from intentional plague/famine).
