Garden of Existence
The journey to my Garden of Existence is through a tunnel of brilliant hues and light. The light is warm on my skin yet cool in its push. It encapsulates me with pure happiness and freedom. There was a moment in my past where I entered a deep state of meditation. I envisioned three angels surrounding me. Guiding me through this tunnel but I could not keep up with their speed. I grew fearful that I would fall behind and lose them forever. The One with The Rich Chocolate Hair grabs my by the wrist and brings me back. There is a pause and the angels float in formation around me, inviting me to ask.

Moments in Between
I was up late flipping through channels and I saw a film that reminded me of you. It was one of those cheesy civil war epics. We would cuddle up to them on cloudy, lazy Sunday nights. You know the type... where He’s a soldier, away at war while She’s home, left to fend off frustration, loneliness and temptation. I remember our favorite part was always the love letter scenes. You loved the melodrama while I loved a good montage. We both laughed at the hopelessness in their voice. In the cold grey barracks he would write to her by candlelight:
