Dear Donald
Dear Donald, When I realized that you would become our president in 2016, I instantly became depressed and determined all at the same time. I was depressed because I know what you stand for and I have known for a long time, but I was confused as to why millions of my fellow Americans did not. Maybe they did know and just shared your views, or they had seen you on tv or a movie and felt like it was time for a change. Either way, you held the most important position on the planet for obvious reasons was simply wrong as the previous 4 years have clearly shown. You are a racist, a bigot, a narcissist, a liar all wrapped in a burrito of criminality. If all that was not enough from day one you have been a national embarrassment. Not just to yourself, but to our country. You were supposed to be our chief representative on the world stage and for 4 years the US has been a laughingstock. With every incompetent word you spewed, another wave of anger and depression swept over me and I am sure over several million of my fellow citizens. It was exhausting to say the very least. I would have rather the office sit empty than have you occupy it for one second. Your businesses were failures and the people who voted had to been hoping for you to come into the White House and bring it down from the inside. You almost did, but the voters spoke out and thankfully, on the 20th, you will be replaced with an actual leader. I think the best part of watching your circus of an administration was when every so often we were treated to pure comedy, when your wife Melania would snatch her hands from you in disgust, the same disgust that more than half the country was feeling every single day. I would laugh so hard at that, but it was a small reprieve. The next day you would be at it again with your stupidity and thuggish behavior. If only members of the senate would have been brave enough to stand up to you, but it's ok, the people did it for them, as we usually must do due to all the corruption that plagues our government. It is fine. We survived the test. That brings me to how determined you made me.
