Your Brain on Life
Inspirational words come from those who have experienced suffering. Inspiration comes from a place where you had to keep going and felt like you couldn't. We've all been there… in some way, struggling against our own thoughts and narrative to find a better way, to persist in the face of adversity.

The Land of Men and Monsters
This is an extended version of my part in the Winter Challenge I wrote for a Vocal collaboration. I have omitted certain details and changed aspects of the storyline so as not to plagiarize anything from my fellow writers. This was the idea I had in my mind when I read the first part written by Lena. It is a more complete telling of the concept and is my original creation that is loosely based on concepts presented in Lena's first part.

***Trigger warning: This article talks about suicide, the feelings that lead up to it, the darkness that engulfs people and how to overcome it. If you are sensitive to this subject, you may want to skip this one. It holds no punches.***

Human Rights
Disclaimer: This is a philosophical piece of writing designed to engage people in thinking, it is not intended to tell anyone what to believe. It was not written to make anyone question their reality. This is a subject that I am passionate about, and I write in a no nonsense manner here. If you do not vibe with the concepts of this writing, then do not engage with it. If it touched you in a positive way, I encourage you to show your support in whatever way you see fit. Thank you beforehand for taking the time to engage with me on a controversial topic.

The Adventures Of Mara Spyre
Blue sky for miles. The Earth, miniature and amalgamated into a single shape below with nondescript features from this lofty distance. This is what it feels like to be alive according to Mara Spyre. She adjusted goggles on her face to keep the wind from damaging her vision. Everyday spent on the Flow brought her joy, but today was especially thrilling. Today, her grin spread wide, eyes shining with adventure, the sun blinding against a cloudless sky.

A Peek at ME
How do you tell people about yourself without being “wordy”? I have no idea. I’ve been accused of being "wordy" so many times in my life that I just accept it now, and I do me better than anyone else anyway. So I’m going to get really wordy in this nitty gritty bio about myself because I literally know no other way.

A Mother is Forever
You walked back into my house today, and my heart swelled. For eight days now, I have been going through memories of your formative years. My beautiful daughter. You moved out eight days ago, and you were angry with me. I will never forget that.

The Writer's Conundrum
In order to write, one must write. I am confident in the fact that although I have not gone through the rigorous education that some authors have, that I can produce an equally captivating book series using the references that come so easily to me, fantasy, magic and the occult. I also want to add adventure, humor and relatable struggle. People identify with struggle so wholeheartedly that I feel it plays a key element in any story. It’s the conflict that we are all addicted to.
