Today we live in a day and age of turmoil throughout the world. If you look around the world today, you can see it is a world in chaos. Everywhere you turn there is war, terror threats, civil unrest, economic instability, rampant disease and viruses, and severe Earth and weather changes that, without little or no warning, can become overwhelming disasters. It is not a question of if you will be somehow affected by one or more of these issues, it is a matter of when.

Saved By Your Best Friend
How do you describe your best friend? Loving, faithful, trusting and trustworthy, protective, and intelligent, they all come to mind. When you realize your best friend is your counterpart then you realize you have the perfect match. Mine just so happens to be a canine. If I were a dog, I would be Asher, my seven-year-old male Siberian Husky.

Phantom of the Swamp
I can remember the day vividly, although, I was just a small child. I was riding with my grandfather in his old 1965 Ford pickup truck, as we went down to the river bridge on Highway 15 North. Shortly before, my grandfather had received a call about Will Jackson's boat being found empty on the river. Local authorities were at the river preparing to drag the river bend at Yates Crossing for Will's body.

Darien knew he was a good creative writer and never needed anyone to support his ideas. He didn't need anyone to critique his work because he considered himself as his own toughest critic. Countless times Darien had started a project only to discard it because he felt something was missing.
