I'm here today, so far away, From the place that I call home. My heart is heavy, my soul is grey, As I wander and I roam. The sights and sounds around me, Are different than what I know. The people, food, and language, Make me feel so alone.

Love is like fire, it burns so bright, A feeling so strong, it grips you tight. Your heart races, your palms sweat, It's an emotion you'll never forget.
I thought love was forever, But my heart feels like a lever, Pulled in all directions, With no signs of connection, The sweet moments we had, Now leave me feeling sad, I trusted you with all I had, But you left me feeling bad.
All good things come to an end, Even the gifts that God sends, Like her, the angel He sent from above who was the one person I truly loved.
