Tarot Lesson 6
DeBunking Tarot Myths, Part 2 So, what we're going to be tackling in this lesson are myths about reading the cards and the people who read them. This is a jump off from my last lesson, though I suspect it will hardly be the last time I do a lesson focused on debunking myths.

Tarot Lesson 5
Debunking the Myths, Part 1 Okay, so there are SO FUCKING MANY myths and straight up bullshit going around about Tarot cards, reading them, owning them, using them at all, etc. that I just can't possibly cover them all in one lesson. It would go on fooooorreevvverrr. So I'm going to hit some of the main ones about the cards themselves this time and in the next lesson, I'm going to talk about misconceptions that surround owning and using them (which are the ones that really get me hot under the collar, so I need time to prepare!)

Tarot Lesson 4
Care and Feeding of Your Deck Presumably at this point in the lessons, you have a deck of your very own! That's exciting, isn't it? Does it feel good in your hands, are you enjoying working with it and getting to know it? Yeah, that sounds weird to a newbie but anyone who has worked with Tarot cards for long will tell you, they have personalities and quirks. There are decks that are blunt and do not give a fuck about your feelings while there are others that are more like that mom friend who tells you the truth but also has a cookie for you. It's fun to discover what kind of deck you have (and it's OK to have several for the sake of those different voices, but we'll cover that in a later lesson).

Tarot Lesson 1
So lesson one is going to be pretty basic, just so that we're all on the same page as we move forward into more complicated discussions. As of right now, I have no idea how many lessons I'm going to end up publishing. There are some topics that I can talk for ages about and some that I usually just point to the works of people who are much smarter than me and tell you "here, this is what you want".

Words, words, words
On this page I'm going to list the terms and concepts that I talk about often so that there is a quick reference. This will keep me from having to explain things like "shadow work" in every other lesson or post. If there are posts where I talk about these things in depth, I will provide links for those of you who want to explore further.

F.A.Q. page
I think that I covered most of what I might be asked and do recommend that you read these questions before you email or message me with a question. But if you don't see your answer here, or want me to further clarify something, feel free to reach out.

Honesty
I wanted to start out my Tarot teaching blog by, you know, teaching Tarot. However, when I was setting up to do just that, I was being haunted by a conversation that I had with a dear friend the other day. I was actually being tormented by something that she wholeheartedly believed.
