Real Men
"Hurry up, Jimmy-boy! Rise and shine! We are leaving in 15!" "Ah, it's 5 in the morning, this is ridiculous! It's sooooo early!” - thought Jimmy while trying his best to open even just one of his eyes. A sweet dream where he was riding a jet-black Harley on the hilly roads just outside Colorado Springs was gone forever...

Watching the Wheels
My name is Daniel Robert Arby and I’ve spent the last 19 years trying to save John Lennon. I’ve decided to write this letter because I believe I don’t have much time left. Last year I’ve been to at least fifty different doctors and went through what feels like half a million tests. Cold and Warm Air
Cold and Warm Air by Dan Babitsenko If you are reading this then I am most probably dead. I never thought there would come a day when the thing I wished for the most would be a tornado. My Silver Linings
I need to write a short story! There used to be this popular website, where up-and-coming writers could publish their work and take part in regular competitions. Editors of the website usually provided thematic prompts for these. I found it to be surprisingly inspiring. Their last competition before the internet went bust didn’t have a prompt, just a word count limitation.

The pears are not falling today
There is something you need to know about Isaac: he has this distinct ability to piece things together, assemble a big story out of small bits of information, see the connections. He is well regarded here in Cambridge as the “smartest man on campus”. While I am just John.

Henry's Decision
Henry’s Decision Henry woke up early on Saturday, excited about the trip to the park, to see William, Margaret, Liz, Harry and others. He was thinking about them throughout the whole school week and even asked his dad if they could wake up at 6 am to go see them on a school day. That proposition was met with a confident “of course not”.
