The Electric Journal Entries of a Wandering Subway Wizard part 1a
Down casted despondencies, depressed and rendered crest-less without a sense of spirit left to fight for what we know to be right. Instead, now we wallow in the shadows at the gallows where one lesser evil is pardoned and the other is hung. Idle-handedly watching the time of our lives get referred to as a game while we remain played by the invisible strings of something we did not subscribe to.

Know Your Ledge
The cells from which we stem ... "When the conditions are right, your stem cells can divide into several daughter cells that can turn into new stem cells through the process of self-renewal. They can also turn into specialized cells, such as blood cells, brain cells, bone cells, or heart muscle cells through the process of differentiation. Self-renewal or differentiation can occur in your body or in a laboratory provided the right conditions." - Dr. David Jockers

Between these cards and beyond these stars.
7 billion people later here we stand, wonderfully unique, independently individualistic, and radically expressive. We are a walking burst of abstract creativity experiencing ourselves through the lens of all else. Making impressions that last as long as they can before they are washed away by the memories that have tried time and time again, to remind us why we even came here in the first place. Love-based motivations ask us to face the cold and heartless moments with warm and generous sentiments, though that is not always our immediate response. Of course, fear has a way of unifying most of us under the pretense of self-preservation, and many of us will have a certain "try-me" kind of attitude ready to test specific traits that have been pre-designed to represent the very definition of our individually marked desires.

A Random Act of Unconditional Compassion
The giving of something from somewhere close to home, passing on the reminder that we are not here alone. A note left on the side of a window opening up to the opportunity of being heard. Listening to what we are going through, actively witnessing the nicest thing we can do. Meeting others all the way, knowing true kindness can only come in full, to be kindred and familiar with an extension of comforts in the company of a perfect stranger. Free of judgments, free of preconceived notions, free of expectations, free of disappointments, free of disjointed stories lacking continuity, free of a need to persuade each other any further than the messages we have sent.
