Colors of Acceptance
Like the colors of a rainbow the pieces come together. Yet and still, none are the same, but let's accept the differences that come out of the rain.
"Meet Cute" Merlot
What is a meet-cute? “A meet-cute is a common scene found in romantic films in which the love interests first meet. The typical approach to these scenes is comedic and/or romantic. They can include awkward misunderstandings, slapstick comedy, or love at first sight. In most cases, the characters feel either a mutual attraction, aversion or some combination of the two.
“Run Dino Run” Game
So many people equate being a teacher with knowing “everything,” and that is definitely not the case. As a young, enthusiastic, millennial teacher I find myself trying to “keep up with the Joneses” by putting on a facade. My students think of me as the “cool” teacher, and the fact that I knew nothing of this hurts my pride... Luckily, I don’t know everything and I shouldn’t be expected to. And this very story is what makes being a teacher so exciting. With that, there is always something new to learn and my high school students sure show me everyday. You would be surprised at the teens of tomorrow and the information that they acquire. These younger generations are so technologically savvy and I love to see it. It amazes me because there are even things that not only as a “teacher,” but as a millennial adult, that I feel I should know and unfortunately… I do not! But enough of the small talk, lets get write to it… no pun intended lol.
